  1. Presence hand built that site and took every precaution while updating it the very few times he did. I remember the last time he updated the forum, he was super nervous about it. ..I don't have high hopes.
  2. They operate out of Nashville. This has surely been beaten to death, as it is the only real clue we have regarding Pontiac video.
  3. I've only received IV so far (will have Houses tomorrow) and I've got 29,753
  4. I might. Dont think I've ever played a SNES.
  5. I only ever had the Sega growing up, until I saved enough for the PS1. Bought a NES a year ago, bought all the Mario and Zelda games too. Fun....but the nostalgia just isn't there
  6. Someone gave me a box full of Pogs, must have been towards the end of their popularity as I never knew anyone that had any
  7. Foam finger rubbing, teddy bear licking and wrecking ball riding aside....it's not a bad cover...could have been worse
  8. This guy? I'm pretty sure this is Roy Harper. If you watch the part right before this, the cameraman steps on Jimmys WAH pedal at 14:40. Jimmy walks over and turns it off at 14:48. I would assume Harper came on stage because the cameraman was getting close to the WAH again.
  9. This. According to Jones, he and Plant had such an influence on the album because they got to the studio early and wrote/worked out a couple of songs. Page and Bonzo jumped in to help flesh out Plant/Jone's songs when they got there. Not to say that Page was in great shape, but it's definitely exaggerated. For anyone who is unfamiliar with "Fire" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTXRP5tUpCk
  10. "Good Times Bad Times" is my second choice, and it's not because of the O2. GTBT is an amazing album opener, especially for the first album. A killer riff and groove, blistering solos, awesome bass runs, and let's not forget Bonzos bass drum (which still blows me away). Something totally different than what was happening in 1969. I chose "Whole Lotta Love", mostly because LZ II is my favorite album.
  11. I Love Lucy is another one that I can get lost in for hours. I bought season one on dvd a couple of months ago, looks much better than the crappy transfers they rerun on TV.
  12. I've spent entire days watching Beavis and Butthead, the Simpsons, or King of the Hill. NCIS marathons are hard to escape, especially with the way they start. Speaking of the Simpsons, there's a 12 day marathon on FXX right now...every Simpsons ever. They are on day 6 or 7 I think.
  13. He mumbles on the 27th (the date the vocals are from), on the 28th he clearly says "gentle", and on the 29th he mumbles again and says it a couple of times - sounding more like "gentle" to me. Gentle and devil sound similar, so it's pretty much what you want to hear rather than what he actually says. I've always sung it as "different"
  14. My absolute favorite part of the whole movie.
  15. Just to be clear, you're talking about this bit at 3:39? That's all guitar.
  16. If there aren't any first hand accounts of the screens being on during the show, the chances it was filmed are slim.
  17. He makes fun of both Zep and Spirit in his usual way. You can tell Colbert doesn't really care about it, he just wanted to use as many Zeppelin references in a sentence as possible.
  18. I love it. Some of my favorite video game music comes from the Diablo series and Streets of Rage
  19. Page and Jones are listed at the same address. Whomever attempted to black out the addresses did so poorly.
  20. Here's the actual court filing... http://www.scribd.com/doc/227721148/Stairway
  21. This soundcheck is very cool. Tt's nice to hear them just messing around, The Rover, Night Flight, the Elvis and Chuck Berry stuff. One clue that this would be from '73 is the fact that JPJ is playing the organ, they didn't have an organ in '75 (the year that some people think this is).
  22. It is a lot, but at the time it was (and still might be) the newest model...so you have to take that into consideration. It retails for well over $900 without contract.
  23. The cost of a new smart phone can be quite staggering. With AT&T when our two year contract is up, they will give you a discount on a new phone. Sometimes the older models of smart phones (iPhone 4, Galaxy S III) can be had for $100, $30, and even down to $1. The catch is, you are committing to a new two year contract. The Galaxy Note III cost me $299 with a 2 year contract. Something else you have to think about is data usage. I'm lucky in that I have a grandfathered in unlimited plan, nowadays there are no "unlimited" plans.
