  1. Surrey, England @ Shepperton Studios (August 1974, MSG reshoots) So I'm guessing that this is contained within TSRTS? Because otherwise that would be major. Nothing new as far as I have heard. There's been some new images, but no video.
  2. Some info I found on this one. Name: Led Zeppelin Performed Live In Seattle Label: Highway Hifi Matrix #: HH Seattle 1 - 4 Apparently this is from a JEMS tape, and, from the info I can find, is the first bootleg pressing of this date. Tracklisting: "It's Been A Long Time" (Rock and Roll) Celebration Day Black Dog Over The Hills and Far Away Misty Mountain Hop Since I've Been Loving You No Quarter The Song Remains The Same The Rain Song Stairway To Heaven The Ocean Whole Lotta Love
  3. This just arrived... Jacket is in poor condition, one of the albums is chipped on the very edge, but it sounds great for the price I paid.
  4. Dazed and Confused - St. Valentine's Day Massacre - 1975-02-14 Uniondale, New York
  5. The only thing that is inscribed in the dead wax is the matrix numbers and "BP". Since I only paid about $35 for it I am quite happy. A trip through the record cleaner and it should be good to go.
  6. Show identified as 09-04-1970 Inglewood (blueberry hill) thanks to the plantation "who threw the firecracker, you want to be locked up, you should be locked up." Or something like that. There appears to be some printing on the label, it's almost completely gone. Matrix # BP-3576-A BP-3576-B Side One Bring it On Home That's The Way Boogie Mama (fragment) Side Two Communication Breakdown (including Good Times Bad Times, For What It's Worth, I Saw Her Standing There) Since I've Been Loving You What Is And What Should Never Be I've yet to nail down a source, that will take a little bit more work.
  7. Knebworth from DVD - Achilles Last Stand (bass, drums, vocal mix - no guitar) JPJ's bass is just killer as always
  8. Anybody know a good part of the movie where the wig is blatantly visible? I should re watch the part where he is reading the story. Also, how about a clear example of the Shepperton reenactment?
  9. Good Times Bad Times - 2007 Rehearsal on reel to reel tape Actually it's Ramble On now.
  10. That whole place is just breathtaking. Out of all of the national parks I have been to, Yosemite is definitely my favorite.
  11. Here are some of my best shots.
  12. Today while searching for pictures was the first time I have seen the arena before the repainting. I really like how it looked in 1968. I kinda laugh at the paint job too, but I can't imagine it being any other way, or it not being in the skyline of downtown Long Beach in it's current state. It's getting rather dull though, they need to touch it up again. Apparently the top is now painted as well, which it wasn't in the above picture.
  13. I thought I'd do a quick summary of the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California. I make an annual "pilgrimage" of sorts to the arena for the Fred Hall fishing and boat show. Being in the arena is pretty damn awesome, and quite amazing to stand in the middle of it and think about the awesome shows that Led Zeppelin put on here, usually with "L.A. Drone" and "Immigrant Song" from How The West Was Won blasting in my headphones. From the Arena Website: http://cc.visitlongbeach.com/arena/ Long Beach Arena The exterior of the Arena is covered by the world’s largest mural, “Planet Ocean”, which features a fabulous array of marine life by internationally renowned environmental artist, Wyland. The Long Beach Arena is a magnificent focal point to the dramatic Long Beach skyline. The Arena seats 13,500 and has 46,000 square feet of exhibit space. The Arena concourse has 29,000 square feet of exhibit space. The Arena Lobby has 19,000 square feet of additional space. 14. Sweet little colltection of Zep there, I like Italian IV tape. I have around 60 8-track tapes, mostly 70's pop stuff and some rock. I've replaced all of the pressure pads and sensing foil, they actually can sound pretty good. The only Zeppelin ones I've found for cheap are HOTH and IV. I just can't bring myself to spend $8-$15 on an 8-track.
  15. Yeah. The prices on Zeppelin vinyl are ridiculous, kinda the norm with bootlegs though. And I love how everything is *rare*. They pressed tons of them, they aren't all rare and worth $20 a piece. I just pulled my copy of LZ IV, was surprised to see it was a Porky, Peko Duck, and that side two has a scuff running through the whole side. . Achilles Last Stand, that vinyl haul is great for the price. How you managed to do that on ebay amazes me.
  16. That one should be awesome. A record store in the local area (about 70 miles from L.A.) has part two of that set for $170. If I were going to pay that much, I'd want both parts, but it's seriously tempting.
  17. I just saw one of those film can ones on ebay after having seen it for the first time here, that set looks really cool. Do you happen to remember what is on that one? I'm slowly trying to build a vinyl Zeppelin bootleg archive to listen to. Even if they are already transferred to digital, there's just something different about hearing them on vinyl. Anyway, Zeppelin memorabilia I collect? My latest acquisition is a Led Zeppelin I picture disc. I overpaid by about 30%...but I wanted it. Sound quality is a little below average, but I still like it anyway.
  18. That's some amazing vinyl in that collection. Just imagine the value of those records....do/have you listened to them?
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yms-vY0p-DE& A Led Zeppelin slideshow I made today set to "Rock and Roll" and "Sick Again" from the Snowblind boot. It took way too long, but it was fun.
  20. Dazed and Confused - BBC Sessions (Japanese edit)
  21. As Long As I Have You - 04/24/69 (on reel to reel tape )
  22. As I have read elseware, every camera sent it's feed to the main switch board. From there the guy directing the show dictated what shots were shown on the screen. What was shown on the screen was sent to a video tape recorder. It's all that was recorded, thus all that we can expect to have.
  23. Before my time: Flintstones Tom and Jerry Looney Toons (specifically Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner & Sylvester and Tweety) Mickey Mouse (early ones ie. not the last 20 years) During my time 1991-now The Simpsons (the early seasons) King of The Hill X-Men (90's animated series) Batman (same as above) Hey Arnold
