  1. No the good DR.BADGE was back with them during the 21-27th Forum shows 2nd Leg!!!

   What, did it taste like chicken instead of fish or something?

Yeah, I vaguely remember those discussions...and yer right Steve, it was somebody else who claimed Badgely accompanied Page to Egypt. Didn't they sack Dr Badgely before the end of the first leg of the tour? Somewhere around the Cleveland dates I reckon, which would explain the Badgely references at the 27 April Destroyer show...

  2. Jimmy Page is the number #1 iconic ROCK-STAR!

Is it just me or has Jimmy Page been photographed a lot, even by celebrity standards? There seem to be hundreds of professional quality photos of the man floating about the internet. I assume that for every photo of him on the internet there are even more that aren't on the internet for legal reasons. That's a lot of photos. Yes, he's been a public figure for almost half a century. Yes, he is an iconic rock star. But so is Mick Jagger. I haven't seen nearly as many photos of Jagger on the internet as I have of Page.

I'm sure it helped that Page was physically beautiful as a young man. But so was David Gilmour. He even worked as a model for a short time. However, there aren't nearly as many photos of the young Gilmour as there are of the young Page. Another thing I've noticed is that Page had many different "looks" when he was in his twenties. Was that another part of his attraction for photographers? They never knew which Jimmy Page they were going to get?

  3. BAKER IS A IDIOT

Just watched the fantastic documentary, "Beware Mr. Baker" and Ginger basically trashes Bonzo. "Bonham had technique but he couldn't swing a sack of shit. The same with Moonie. If they were alive today, ask them." Then they cut to Eric Clapton and he scoffs at the idea of Bonzo/ Moonie being compared to Ginger because he claims Baker is a composer and was a fully harmonic musician. The thing I found interesting was he considers himself a jazz drummer and that at one point in his life, he used to shoot up a mix of heroin, cocaine, and LSD. He's totally insane!

  4. There's a nice way to spend a half-hour. :D

Yes Strider as we wand on down the road as we age with time you do appreciate TIME as it seems it moves quickly yet I can remember Zep's 77-tour as it was yesterday; as with anything "GREAT IN LIFE" "TOO EACH IS OWN" 1-thing we all on this Forum realize is Zep's Music has stood "THE TEST OF TIME" yet it was "GONE" it seems so fast! The older one get's you do appreciate that great half hour of "NO-QUARTER" LED-ZEPPELIN U.S.TOUR 1977.
