  1. Wonderful article. Thanks so much for posting Sam. One of the few articles I've read lately that had me "feeling". I appreciate this forum so much more when I can come here and read articles like this one. Best, Jay
  2. Posted on another thread. Sound was HORRIBLE (too low, no surround, lacking bass) Showcase Cinemas, Legacy Place, Dedham, MA - 7:30 show.
  3. Question for the board: How was the sound at your venue? Went to Showcase Cinemas, Legacy Place, Dedham, MA. 7:30 show MANY people kept leaving the theater to tell them to turn it up. Ushers and even management kept giving a BS story that "it's not like a stereo where you can just turn it up. We're worries about the speakers." PLEASE!!! I worked in a theater for years and I know that you CAN turn it up. I've also been to movies where the sound was so loud it hurt my ears (Dark Knight Rises is a good example). As others have mentioned, it also lacked that "oomph" of a rumbling bas
  4. Place: Dedham, MA - Showcase Cinemas, Legacy Place Time: 7:30 show Cost: $14.50 purchased online two weeks ago Travel time: 10 minutes Group? Yes! Organized a Facebook event Anticipation? Priceless!!!
  5. "My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw something written on the bathroom wall at 31 Flavors last night that something is happening around Christmas. I guess it's pretty serious." Well, all kidding aside, I hope it's something . . .
  6. YES!!! Mine was waiting for me when I got home from work. Number 85 of 418. While I VERY MUCH appreciate the opportunity to have a signed edition, I'm a bit disappointed that it's signed and numbered ON THE BACK!!! Framing it won't do any good with Jimmy's signature on the back . . . Nevertheless, IT'S A KEEPER!!!

  8. I received the email letting me know I was "picked" to be able to buy the signed deluxe set too. I was on the fence as it's not exactly cheap. Then, last night on the Biography channel, the Led Zeppelin bio was on (Not very good either. They didn't even use any Zep music!) Nevertheless, I took that as a sign. I went ahead and bought it.
  9. Ok, so far, I've been told that this was a British-only promo display for Led Zeppelin I. Does anyone else have any information they could share? I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
  10. Thanks Pb! It doesn't look like there are any places where additional pieces would have been attached. Mine does have the Atlantic logo on the tail and still has the string with the spool attached at the top. I found a better pic and have added it to my original post.
  11. Hi all, New to the forums, but long time collector / trader. I bought the mobile in the picture years ago and have been struggling to find out some information about it. What's the story behind it? Thanks in advance, Ghastly Note: The picture is a reproduction someone did a couple of years ago. I have an original.
