  1. I saw & downloaded this a week ago when it first went up, I also looked at this site to see if there was any mention of a Paris 69 Pre FM upgrade and there was none, I started to look each day since then and no mention was forthcoming I started to wonder if something was wrong, had all talk of it been banned or was it just something everyone knew about, so Yesterday I decided enough was enough and that I ought to mention it for the good of all just in case, now I'm glad I did because it appears there's lots of folk who knew nothing about it. Graham
  2. Thanks for that, I see it's in the Top 10 CD's section but has not yet made the 1969 listing page, it'll get there though and it's a really great boot. Graham
  3. Very true and I was quite surprised not to see mention of it anywhere, maybe someone should tell the guy's at Underground Uprising so they can do a review of it. Graham
  4. Not sure if this mentioned on here but I thought someone ought to, if you know where to look there's a CD of a TAPE of the Pre Broadcast reels available from the Olympia, 10th October 1969 in the CITY of Paris, so is an upgrade on that which has been previously available, so it's well worth checking out if you can find where to look for it. 5. Not being one of the lucky few who got to attend the reunion this week, has had me thinking back to being a 14 year old and going to my first gig, which just happened to be at Knebworth on the 11th August 1979, I remember it being a lovely hot day (at least I think it was) & being excited at going to my first gig with a mate & his Dad, and yet at the same time being a little daunted as I'd never seen so many people in one place which made it kind of scary. I loved Southside Johnny, Todd Rundgren & even Chas & Dave (I know!!!!) Neither Commander Cody or the New Barbarians did anything for me, but it was just a great day all leading up to the main attraction and when Zep came on & played for 3 hours I was just blown away, I just enjoyed every second of it and it all just seemed to fly by. Thats 28 years ago now and I've got less hair which is also greying, but the memories are still nice, but whats more I can relive it by listening to the great sounboard recording & DVD's that are available. Graham
  6. I'd say of the 2 HTWWW just edges it for me, though as someone stated above I also think the BBC sessions is much better. I also prefer the Southampton 1973 Kevin Shirley mixdown boot to those 2 you ask about, it's a much more intimate show with good banter with Plant & the crowd, no Moby Dick or any excessive solo's and to me it's a stellar performance all round, and I wish it would be released officially. Graham
  7. Knebworth 11th August 1979 My first ever Gig aged 14, went with a mate & his Dad, not a bad first gig to start with
