To clarify: There's nothing in this article that suggests a release date being announced imminently. This confusion seems to stem from other music news websites writing up the LedZepNews story and introducing the suggest that a release date is coming. The LedZepNews article only covers the fact that a promotional campaign has been ready for years.

Some outlets are making the claim that Jimmy Page has explained why he refused to play on Ozzy Osbourne's new album, but this isn't true. NME, for example, wrote a story with the headline: "Jimmy Page says he refused to appear on Ozzy Osbourne’s new album". To be clear, Page has said nothing of the sort. Instead, he was asked by Classic Rock Magazine in its 300th issue what he's been up to for the past few years and that's where he made the comments about potential new solo projects. NME's claim that "the Led Zeppelin legend has now explained that he refused to appear on the album because he was too busy working on his own projects" is misleading and incorrect. We don't know if Page was ever actually asked to appear on the album outright.

The blog post you linked to here is misleading. "Jimmy Page Plans To Tour Again Soon" is the headline, backed up by a claimed "recent" interview that Jimmy Page gave to GQ. There are no direct quotes from the interview in the Classic Rock History post, but it appears that the author is referring to a year-old interview that Page gave to GQ for its December 2020 edition. Playing live is so important for young musicians. When we were young, we all had these little gigs, hoping to play somewhere bigger and it’s such an important part of that communion of musicians playing together. I never went into music in the first place to do that, it was for playing together and this is what it means. We need to play with people, we need gigs and we need community. I thought this was interesting when I read that part of the Associated Press report but that's not actually what she said in the press conference. "It is an unusual way of making a documentary but it’s more like a feature film way of making documentaries and that’s probably what we would like to do next after this, would be a feature," is what Allison actually said. She didn't say she wanted to make a feature film about Led Zeppelin, just that her and Bernard would like to make a feature film next.
