  1. Thanks very much for clearing this up, she's a very talented singer. Great to see people from the show joining this forum
  2. It's my understanding that the female singer is Steve Winwood's daughter Lilly Winwood. I'm not 100% sure of that, though.
  3. Hi! Thanks for answering, that's really cool that you had a private performance of Robert Plant and Steve Winwood performing in a rural church, what a fantastic gig!
  4. Great stuff, did Robert play any other songs than the ones listed above? Also, your photos show the church in daytime, some of the other pics show Robert at night with his hair down, I take it it was a long evening?
  5. On Friday the 4th of April 2014, Robert Plant played an unannounced show at Northleach Church in Gloucestershire. Close to Steve Winwood's home in the Cotswolds, Robert joined him to play some songs at the annual gospel concert: From The Heart. The proceeds of the show went to The Children's Society, Christian Aid and Open Door. Tickets cost £10 on the door. After the show, Robert Plant went to the local pub, which was packed out. Known songs played: Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down Nobody's Fault But Mine (with Steve Winwood) Twelve Gates To The City (includes several lines of In My Time Of Dying) Videos: Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down (Part) Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down (Full audio) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WeCFXTufU8 Nobody's Fault But Mine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkyvDNpGshk Twelve Gates To The City https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTlbWHJo_Wc
  6. That's the real Richard Cole who answered on Facebook
  7. This is the guy who won the competition to own Jimmy's guitar, right?
  8. AFAIK, Robert spent a lot of time in his home town, and is back in Wales again. Jason is back in Florida writing songs with Glenn Hughes.
  9. Is that the same shirt as 1970/03/07 Montreux? The boot is from (apparently) the Montreux Jazz festival
  10. Glenn Hughes posted this Vine video of him messing about with Jason. Made me laugh. https://vine.co/v/hblvMu6mFWJ
  11. It was a Photoshopped photo of John Bonham. It's just an idea that Jason has had, not an actual thing.
  12. So I'm doing some research on Barrington Coleby at the moment. I've found some photos of him, and an old address. He left Norwich in the early 1980s with his wife and young son. He returned to Edinburgh in the latter half of that decade. He's now in Switzerland, he moves around the country and also visits Germany on occasion. I've posted photos of him and some of his works on the hermit painting thread: http://forums.ledzeppelin.com/index.php?/topic/7838-the-hermit-painting I have a lead in an art dealer in Zurich who is asking around for me. I've just found this, it looks like he went to school with Jimmy in Epsom, which I hadn't heard before: http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk/Discussion/753101 And if anyone knows 'Rockhound' it would be most appreciated if you put me in touch with him, as far as I know he is the only person to know Barrington's current location.
  13. There is no picture of the hologram. The hologram does not exist.
  14. I don't think it's in there actually. I'm sure a knowledgeable forum member will come along with a photo of Robert on stage with his symbol though.
  15. Blimey, I know something useful! If you check out Immigrant Song on the Led Zeppelin DVD (the Australia performance) you can see a drape over JPJ's keyboard with his symbol embroidered on. Here's a photo.
  16. The band are going to be headlining their own smaller-scale US tour. The comment about the John Bonham hologram originates from this interview snippet: It's not a definite plan, more of a musing and an idea, but news sites are picking it up as fact. Here's the source for the interview, it's a good read: http://www.legendaryrockinterviews.com/2013/07/12/jason-bonham-talks-led-zeppelin-experience-touring-with-heart-celebration-day-and-more
  17. The Beatleg cover? Looks like Landover '77 to me. Not sure which night though.
  18. Does anyone know which issue of Mojo Magazine this is from? Saw this on Instagram a few days ago and wondered if it is from a recent issue.
  19. Everything on the day of the show went to the foundation, a portion of the profit from the sale of Celebration Day was donated.
  20. I was thinking that this morning actually. I presume that the merch sales contributed to the fund, since the merch sold was related to the concert. The programme, T-shirt, mug etc were all branded with the memorial event, not Led Zeppelin. Also, a proportion of the sales of Celebration Day sales went to the fund.
  21. Jimmy's collaborators for his new album. It got really folk.
