  1. Happy Birthday, Beast !!!! Rock it up there, man. Always Loved and always Missed.
  2. I Played For Your Life so loud that i feared for my own health, and i had to turn it down ... i was sad.
  3. I seen a Picture of him with his hands on his knees, the damn things are enormous !!
  4. I Actually read somewhere that The Acoustic Rock and Roll became Boogie with Stu, but i don't know when boogie with stu was recorded, So, Who knows ?? And as for my favourite version Of RnR, i know it's a bit weird, but i always enjoyed the Studio Version the most !!!
  5. I absolutely Love It .... Thank you Mr.Sam.
  6. Black dog on a Violin !!!!! well i wasn't at any point expecting that, Freaking amazing though.
  7. I voted for Jason just because i hate Grohl's guts, but when it comes to drumming abilities, they are both very competent and both can (almost) fill john's shoes.
  8. Very Good Thread this and Very nice advises, I've been playing for over a year now ... And of course Zeppelin is my main inspiration, it's been a lot of fun to start, and it still is amazing fun to learn new songs and stuff, a couple of my friends also started playing, but they didn't get on with it, because they didn't have a strong inspiration ... So, a humble advice from another beginner is to have a Strong inspiration, and put it like an idol to you, always listen to songs, of all genres, and expand your horizon, one guitar is enough, you don't need to have a crap load of les pauls to be g
  9. You Are Completely Right !!! It's Hots on for nowhere, Celebration day, and Misty Mountain Hop Of Course Happy Hippies.
  10. The Description of the Paper Wasp Bite granted me several sleepless nights. And I'm Entomophobic .
  11. ^^^ So You're a Drummer, You Have Several Les Paul Customs (Hence your profile Pictures), and you Recently Posted A detailed Overview on the Tea for One Tone. You Sir Are a Damn good Guy.
  12. I'll say they are the best band. Full Stop. they did so many things that they can't be limited to a single genre, and as a "Band", they were the best, the musicality and the interplay between them was almost uncanny, at many occasions, and any of their live events can kick anybody's ass, anytime, This includes the stones, the who, queen, GnR, deep purple, cream, black sabbath, and everybody else (But not Hendrix, they were equals). and why does it matter anyways ? i love them, you love them, why would you care about anybody else.
  13. No, Not a Tour, Partially because i know they will never come to north Africa, so i won't get to see them, and i'd be pissed off, but mainly because a Tour after the O2 may seem a little bit late and immature, as Stryder1978 said in post #2, another one off show with the three of them together will be fine.
  14. For Your Life and No Quarter, i could just listen to those two for a whole day, then go to Sleep and then wake up and listen to them again for another day.
  15. ^^^^ Yes, Some Songs must be electric to work, i doubt if Achilles would sound good too. But I'd Love Bron-yr-Aur, and Candy Store Rock too, I bet nobody would've thought of it, and Boogie with stu will work well as a fun encore, acoustic RnR instead of Rock And Roll.
  16. JAMES !!!!!!! Happy Birthday Granpa and looking forward to your New Material this year (Hopefully). Keep Rockin' Forever Jimmy, You're My Inspiration, Enjoy Your Birthday.
  17. I really do enjoy your playing .... i enjoyed that performance and the other 3 performances you posted before
  18. ^^^^^JTM .. You Mean Fluck all ... and why the hell would you want to edit out the squeaks anyway ??? i find them quite beautiful and they sure add a lot to the to the character of the song, if page was a perfectionist, he would have edited the beginning of the ocean, and that of black country woman, and the laughs at the end of boogie with stu, and the cough, after in my time of dying, but he chose to leave those in, to remind people that there are men playing, not machines.
  19. I have a Theory About this actually, i think they never played it live because it was so ... er, light !! i mean, the bass line and the main riff are very monstrous, yes, but also, very light and lack a bit of loudness present is all the songs they played live ... i Love the rover, it's one of my top ten actually, but when they played that snippet in '77, i honestly didn't quite feel it.
