Orlando 1971....also 100th post!

Happy Birthday Jonesy!
It's yours and my sister's birthday today, as well as JRR Tolkien
-
Love the medleys in this, especially Jonesy's solo

Was just watching the MST3K episode "Pod People", and one of the robots during the film riffed in a British accent, "John Bonham, Moby Dick!"...Threw me for a loop, I love that the MST3K guys listen to Led Zeppelin as well, particularly the live stuff!

After reading that gentleman's review of the Dallas show, I really want a recording of that show to surface! I imagine their energy that night, just over two years since they last played in the States...
Also I was very excited to see Black Dog as the first encore-wish it was played more often in '77...
Lastly, I've been left at the cliff-hanger of your account of the L.A. '77 shows! Did you finish it in a different thread?
Agreed! I'm excited to hear the rest of your show accounts, Strider, they're wonderful!

How Many More Times -- Royal Albert Hall 1970

Thanks! Check stubhub, the prices are coming down pretty quickly - might be able to take advantage of a desperate seller!
Wish I could, but I have to work all day that day
Thanks anyway, Walter, have a great time!

This Sunday, April 28, Rush at the Amway Center in Orlando.
Almost bought tickets for that one...kicking myself for not...Have a great time, Walter!

Zoso on May 18th...so excited, haven't seen them in two years!

Paris, October 10th, 1969....Great show, especially the Good Times Bad Times intro. A nice early performance of Heartbreaker, too, and a truly magnificent How Many More Times. Surprised I never heard this show before today, it's wonderful.

Whole Lotta Love 3-20-75 (Snowblind)
Damn, its explosive, one of the best versions I've ever heard of the song.
I just wish they'd done the solo and finished the song, rather than going right into Heartbreaker.

I'd say Zoso is the best, though it's the only one I've seen live. Amazing performance, and I had the privilege to shake hands with all of them after the show. Very kind and talented people, highly recommended if they ever come to your area.

Happy early Birthday, Jonesy!

I would suggest checking out the "Hello Mary Lou" segment during HTWWW "Whole Lotta Love", it's at about the ten minute mark...Also, in TSRTS's "Whole Lotta Love", I'd suggest "Boogie Mama", it's about 30 secs after Jimmy's solo.
What show or live song are you listening to now?
