  1. I seldom if ever ask anything of anyone but I'd really like at least one set of Jason's sticks from this tour. If anyone out there is kind enough to pick a pair up for me I'll gladly cover the expense (or arrange a trade if that is preferred). I won't be at any of the gigs until the last week of the tour and would really hate to miss out on acquiring memrobilia such as sticks from earlier dates of the tour.

just so you know, they are $5 each. So a pair would be $10. :)

  2. I'm seeking eyewitness accounts of merchandise sales at the venues - authorized and unauthorized. What is being offered?

I'm also seeking eyewitness accounts of the pre-show VIP receptions - have all the bandmembers been present? Does Jason seem very much at ease with taking the time to do these? Is Jason/the band honoring requests for photographs and autographs?

I only saw one Merchandise table

a couple of mens and women shirts to choose from(The Led Zeppelin Experience), I think 2 basic prints but maybe 5 or 6 different shirts? $30

    autographed drum head $30

    Jason's "used" drumsticks $5

    and lanyards

    Nothing unauthorized that I saw.

  3. You know a song I always liked that has remained in relative obscurity is Thru With The Two Step off of TPOM. I think Plant's vocal performance on this song was just absolutely beautiful, gentle and powerful at the same time. Sure some of the synth stuff hasn't aged all too well, but a lovely a song all the same.

Love that song too. And love pulling that album out for a good listen.

I can't pick my favorites, it's too hard. All I know is Song to the Siren would be on the list.

  4. Too difficult to pick just one!! His falsetto at the end of No Quarter is truly magnificent! He just sort of glides into it, and it sounds really natural. Battle of Evermore is exceptional - it gives me goosebumps. I also love when he screams at the end of I'm Gonna Crawl - I don't know why, but it always makes me laugh! :D

Oh yeah, I'm Gonna Crawl.... add that to my list.

  5. The 80s.Ugh.

The 80s were great and Robert was great in the 80s. And those of us who were around loved the way he looked then too.

He was/is great and at the time I thought he looked great... but now, looking back... he, no wait, we all looked pretty silly in the 80's.

  6. This is really hard but I might have to say

    Kashmir

    In My Time of Dying

    That's the Way

    Stairway

    Battle of Evermore

~I could go on but I'll stop there.

Raising Sand I think is all beautiful and I've been listening to Fate of Nations again recently and I'm loving it.

and I agree "..and if I say to you tomorrow..." just lovely

  7. I finally decided to jump on the Twilight bandwagon to see what all the hype was about. I bought the book a few weeks ago and now I'm already finished! I've also since seen the movie and want to read the next book. Yeah, I'm turning into one of those crazy fans. B)

me too! I saw the movie and now I'm about have way through the first book. Love it!

  8. I saw JPJ with Diamanda.... I had no idea who she was. I just went to see them because of JPJ.... I was front and center and was absolutely shocked when she started performing. Knowing I was going to see JPJ, I could not have imagined that was the concert I was going to see.

Interesting to hear him talk about not playing Zeppelin. They didn't play any when I saw them but at one small point in the concert I swear he teased us with a quick lick of a Zeppelin bass line.. I want to say Dazed and Confused, but I can't quite remember which song it was.

  9. Ah the pictures are so hot!!! thanx!!! and...i wanted to share with you my experience.....the other day i've seen a photo where Robert is without his pants, even without his underwear (!)...i was shoked.....how could such picture get into the Internet???!!! i think he would be furious if he knew about it......

P.S. THAT PIC WAS GREAT :D

Is that the one where the 4 of them are in a field? If so, yeah that one will catch your eye.

  10. I was listening to Robert Plant's myspace page at the same time that I was signing up for the other Led-Zeppelin website. They only have 2 songs on there.... now that I think of it, good thing Big Log wasn't playing... ;)

I think it was the first time I had heard ATKH.... I kinda didn't listen to Robert Plant for a while. I'm catching up on all things Robert these days.

  11. He must hate ol Roddy. He does indeed trash Rod at many, many occasion. And of course "He's allowed his opinion" jeez. But I truly don't get such harsh words over and over about Rod.

Just because he has had smash hit LP's doing what Robert considers "cabert."

Rod's voice went through hell and back having cancer removed. I will gladly admit to loving alot of Rod's work.

I LOVE his voice, and he hasn't done anything THAT different than Robert....trying different genres he never had.

Let's see, how many LP's of Rods went Platinum in the first weeks?????

I'll stick up for Rod.

    To each their own.

And besides...Rod has soooo many hot ex's and little babies popping out so often, he pretty much might HAVE to "flirt with cabert!"

 that's funny Hot Plant. And I like Rod Stewart. Kinda like I like the Leprechan(that's for Franco) But certainly not like I Love Robert Plant. ;)

As for Rod and all his children, you gotta love the clip of his daughter and Paris on the red carpet... when she loses control of the motorcycle and wipes out...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94mGl-aEK0E

this isn't the best clip, but it's the only one I could find.

  12. the one thing that has always gotten under my skin about RP, is his need to constantly put down other bands.

I don't know if what is said above is really true. Who knows. But I would agree, he does seem to voice his disapproval often. He could go a little easier on some people, like for example... Rod Stewart? (But then again, I don't know Rod personally, maybe he's an a$$)

  13. If KISS never wore make-up, I guarantee that they would be a lot more respected...have any of you haters actually listen to Ace play...He's GREAT.....amazing solos...very Page-like in his technique...has said himself that LZ (esp. Page) were a big influence....to each their own but in my book, KISS is a really good band (Detroit Rock City, Love Gun, I Stole Your Love, and King Of The Night Time World are pretty good tunes)...BTW, just so you guys know...JOHN PAUL JONES is a big KISS fan...he has a long quote in one their books about how underrated they are...it's a shame they became a kids band in the late 70's.

Well I did have an Ace Frehley tape back in the day.... Frehley's Comet??? Used to like it. But not Kiss. Oh wait JPJ likes them????... hmmmm.... I better reconsider! hehe... nah, still don't like them.

  14. I don't understand why all the negitive responses directed towards Kiss.

Many of the previous posts have nothing to do with the original post, which personally

I thought was nothing but complimentary towards Jimmy.

You're right, speaking for myself.. my comment was a comment on someone else's comment which was a comment that didn't say anything positive about the first comment. I still don't like Kiss, but you're right, I probably didn't need to say it. sorry Paul Stanley and Kiss lovers.

  15. I have no respect for Kiss or their opinions. Led Zeppelin combined their intelligence to elevate rock music to new heights in talent, creativity, musicianship, songwriting and intensity.

Kiss used theirs to dumb-down rock music and turn it into a cheap, disposable product of questionable artistic value.

To put Paul Stanley in the same sentence as Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page is like throwing Lyndsay Lohan along with Joni Mitchell and Janis Joplin.

I'm sorry friends, but I have to agree here with grandmeaulne. I know there are a lot huge Kiss fans out there but I just never have liked them. One word comes to mind when I think of Kiss.... Ewwww.
