[ 5:09 ], [ edit ], Layla tease, The Song Remains The Same [ 5:38 ] >> The Rain Song [ 6:40 - cut ], [ edit ], Dazed And Confused (<< San Francisco, Bring It On Home.. ) [ 27:26 - cut ], [ cut ], Whole Lotta Love (<< The Crunge, Cold Sweat, Everybody Needs Somebody To Love, D'yer Mak'er, Boogie Chillun, Baby I Don't Care, Let's Have A Party [ cut ], I Can't Quit You Baby [ cut ], The Lemon Song..) [ 26:26 ], [ cut ], The Ocean [ 2:31 - cut ]. Source: Incomplete fair to good audience recording. 104 minutes. Details: The recording is distant and muffled. The distance creates a slight echo that clutters the sound. The instruments are lacking good definition and are highly overloaded by the bass notes. Recording Includes: Dazed And Confused [ cut ] (<< San Francisco, Bring It On Home..), Stairway To Heaven [ cut ], [ cut ], (an excerpt from Whole Lotta Love medley): [ cut ] The Crunge >> Cold Sweat >> Everybody Needs Somebody To Love >> D'yer Mak'er >> Boogie Chillun >> Baby I Don't Care >> Let's Have A Party >> I Can't Quit You Baby >> The Lemon Song >> Whole Lotta Love. Source: Incomplete excellent soundboard recording. 56 minutes. Details: The recording is excellent beside of being a bit hissy during the quiet passages. Well balanced.
  21. Blabbermouth just posted the above - release date 10/23/09! THEM CROOKED VULTURES: Debut Album Title, Release Date Revealed? - Aug. 5, 2009 According to what appears to be a promotional poster (see below) for the debut album from THEM CROOKED VULTURES, the new supergroup consisting of FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl, LED ZEPPELIN bassist John Paul Jones and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE singer/guitarist Josh Homme, the CD — titled "Never Deserved The Future" — will be released on October 23 via Interscope. However, it should be noted that October 23 is a Friday, which is not a day when albums are traditionally made available in the U.S. (most labels release new CDs in the U.S. on Tuesdays). THEM CROOKED VULTURES will reportedly make its live debut this Sunday (August 9) at the tiny Metro club in Chicago as part of a Lollapalooza afterparty. An image promoting the event has surfaced on the eTix.com web site, with the image featuring a symbol that corresponds to each man in the group. Tickets for the show go on sale Thursday (August 6) at 11:00 a.m. ET exclusively through eTix. Lollapalooza takes place all weekend at Grant Park in downtown Chicago. THEM CROOKED VULTURES has also now set up a bare bones web site with links to pages on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Rumors surfaced earlier this year that Grohl, Homme and Jones were jamming and recording together. The threesome are said to be finishing up their debut album, although a title and release date have yet to be announced. Homme's wife, singer Brody Dalle, recently told Antiquiet, "I'm not at liberty to talk about it . . . but I think (the project) is pretty fucking amazing. Just beats and sounds like you've never heard before."
