I saw somewhere in Net land that a cease and desist on 4 remaster is coming...does anyone know if thats a fact or even a possibility...all the stuff they nicked for real and this phony lawsuit happens- I just dont hear the plagiarism but I am not a trained musician...

Geez Did this Spirit dude need 42 years to come to this (false) conclusion? In the long run I don't believe it will blemish or damage LZ. Just hope it doesnt hold up the remasters project

Page has left a great legacy and maybe just doesn't feel a desire to be out there at 70 , especially on a solo tour...I think Robert is still very creative but as he gets on in years will take a well deserved rest. One definitive remastering with extras is a worthwhile project. Jimmy is meticulous and precise in the studio and is maybe putting serious time in these to make them the definitive remasters. As someone who still buys cd's ...if it's done right I am looking forward to them although we are on "Zeppelin" time so would not be surprised if it was latter half of 2014. As for the band getting together ...better to leave it in 07 in a really good place then churn a greatest hits arena tour without Bonzo being there. (Yes, I think Jason is great but continuing on with him may not be best...we have NO idea how the band may or may not still grieve) I have a feeling Robert may associate Zep to some degree with a lot of loss. Money can't buy his seven year old son or best friend back. On some level I think Jimmy respects that even if he felt differently as recent as a year ago about touring with the band.

The extended solo-less version on the old Studio Daze bootleg, is infinitely better.
And how many of us pull out Plant's early solo career stuff anymore? I can't because the production of some has dated horribly, and the quality of some was just awful...or I should say is now awful from a contemporary stance.
I run Through Robert's catalog every couple of months Shaken n Stirred and his first one are the only ones I don;t enjoy all that much Principle of Moments, fate of Nations, Dreamland, Mighty Rearranger, Raising Sand and Band of Joy are among my favorite albums of all time

I love Hot Dog...nice to hear LZ lighten things a little bit and Plant's 50's kind of voice...not a defining song but in the face of punk/new wave at the time kind of amusing....

Yes if the problem is a pause on a dvd definitely layer change Not sure why one Blu disc would not be recognized at all...but i did have a dvd r someone gave me that would only play on computer even tho my player plays dvd r's usually...again I say can u take it back...or if u can get it to work on other players fine sell it and at least get a few bux back and try a new one.

I think another thing about Stairway for Robert was the multitude of Bonzo hats and seeing Jason up there...He immediately stood up when Jason came out so maybe it was more memories and feelings than just the song itself....Heart did a nice job though....

I have had that happen occasionally and have to cold boot the tv and player again...sometimes twice with some discs...but if u have already tried that I guess its a bad disc...the only discs I have seen not boot at all are dvd r's and really badly scratched discs R U sure u cant take it back and explain the situation? Amazon is usually helpful -except they make u send the whole thing back. If u buy another buy from Amazon if u can...Best Buy and places like that didnt carry it here except for 2 copies they got at release day... but when I used to get cd's and dvd's there they would give me a really hard time ...even if the disc had a huge scratch in it- if it played THERE they would balk at taking it back. I could say check for latest firmware but I doubt this is the problem....I update mine all the time but am not sure what a difference it makes as I dont use any streaming and thats usually what the fixes are for.Wish I could help...where did u buy it?

Cat, Is it a Blu ray or DVD? Ironic about Stargate I find a lot of older releases skip the menu on my player and go right to the feature but I cant get into the top menu...I have lowend stuff soI dont really know the ins and outs of this ...I have hardly any dvd's and blu rays of my own....It does seems Blu rays are harder to scratch...besides the improved quality thats a plus...

did u get it from Amazon then u can still return it...The dvd wont start at ll or skips? Whoever sold it to u might listen to u but it has been a month now...

I have 3 blu rays (dont ask) and all 3 play fine on my cheap Sony 380 standalone I have been updating the firmware as they come out....Have 2 of the rehearsal DVD's and they also havent glitched...dont have expensive sound system but I know that delay has happened with other surround sound dvd's and there was a workaround for it....

I liked the blonde girl from Abba....tough to say if the two in crisis had gottten it together in time what would have happened ITTOD at the time in HS seemed like a let down but it has some great sonds on there and i appreciate it a lot more now...Page never like All my love? Did he say that at the time or now?...chemicals can cloud judgement...

Never had a chance to see them...wasnt allowed to go to concerts in HS... FM radio and a girlfriend that had a few of their albums and I was hooked 76/77ish Ok Jr HS...Followed Plant really closely after that some misses... but I played Principle of Moments to death and love most of the solo years...always had tough time with Shaken N stirred

2 disc version of Fairport Convention Liege and Lief... i had to pay 27 dollars but this is one of my favorite albums of all time and worth it...the BBC version of Tam Lin is amazing ..in many ways I see this song as a FC take of a Battle of Evermore kind of song..wow Sandy could really sing!

My interaction with LZ has brought me nothing but happiness.
My interaction with people claiming to be Christians has brought me nothing but misery.
i never talk about my faith...but will say that those "Christians" that spread misery are not really practicing charity or tolerance...thats the problem ...Christianity has now become associated with televangelists , crowned royal-like Popes,$, and lots of sexual abuse lately...to me those people have very little to do with what Jesus is alleged to have said whether u believe he was just a Jewish teacher or divine...but I gave up discussions about this in depth a long time ago...people just get angry and honestly I dont care if someone is atheist, Christian, Jewish, Thelemite...it's who they show themselves to be in character that matters...LZ-not "gods" except maybe compared to other artists. I respect Jimmy's inteest in thelema but probably am closer to Robert in what I believe from some of his statements after Karac and Bonzo's deaths....
