I know this show gets bashed a lot but there are plenty of gems in this show and it's one of my favorite of the '77 tour. Also includes my favorite performance of Moby Dick. Bonzo saved the best for last.

Great story indeed! Buy why in the world would he wear that hat and bring Jimmy Page some of his home recordings? He's going to meet Jimmy Page and this chump is thinking "maybe Jimmy would like to hear me strum my geetar and hum." I am sure over the years Jimmy Page has been given hundreds of tapes from amateur musicians that I doubt he could give two shits about. You really think Jimmy Page is going to waste his time? Be thankful you are going to meet and spend some time with the man... and don't wear hat that is big enough for your small stature to live in!

5. Agreed 4. His new "sympathizer" was not a highlight for me. It added some cheese to the songs. 3. Setlist was not great. Rain Song, Hot Dog and All of My Love are the weakest songs in the entire set and add nothing special to the Zeppelin live experience for the 1980 tour. White Summer was a disaster and did not showcase the James Patrick Page we know and love. 2. Love Train Kept a Rollin'. The Dortmund version always gets me fired up! 1 Strange number 1! Page is clearly not enjoying the song live evident by his half-arsed solos! No flair or excitement added to the live version. Very boring. Bonzo is phoning it in for this song as well.

I am still on the fence and Amazon has it discounted to $42.00.

I wonder if they will re-release the film in theaters to coincide with the release of the reissued soundtrack.

I love the 2/12 MSG show and Page is on fire (along with Bonzo and Jonsey) but Gibson makes a good point of Jimmy falling off the rails right after Dazed. The quality of the soundboard recording also enhances the quality of the show even if Plant's voice isn't up to snuff.

I have an original Elektra 1st press of Funhouse on vinyl and it is an amazing sounding record. The louder you crank it, the better is sounds and it creates a pleasant disturbance to my neighbors.

If there is a reunion, JPJ's contract must include that clause.
