If anyone reading this has a copy of the Montpellier 11-25 show, please let me know. To my knowledge, there is nothing out there in bootleg land for this show. But someone could have taped it and just never put it online.

These are the only Page/Plant performances that do not circulate:

1998.05.27 North Charleston, South Carolina USA (North Charleston Coliseum) *Recording exists, owner will not circulate*

1998.08.06 Kenmare, Ireland (Dromquinna Manor)  *Impromptu performance at Tom Kenny's wedding - 5 songs*

1998.11.12 Zagreb, Croatia (Mala dvorana Doma sportova)

    1998.11.25 Montpellier, France (Zénith Sud)

All the rest of the performances (216, I think) are out there.

I think Keebs was as good as it got in that universe.

She was a beauty, so was Torrie Wilson (seen here with Stacy).

  3. Nothing against Michael Lee's playing, I just really never liked the way his drums sounded to me. I thought Steve Gorman did an excellent job playing the Bonzo role with Jimmy and The Black Crowes.Had the band carried on, or re-united with Jason on an album later on would have been great. But, no one is Bonzo. Just like I don't think anyone can fill Neal Peart's shoes, if Alex and Geddy so desire to continue someday. Just my 2 cents.

Actually, you are making this shit up. Biden never said he would defund the police.

"Defund the police" - as defined here: https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/06/us/what-is-defund-police-trnd/index.html : shifting resources away from law enforcement toward community resources

In this interview biden is pointedly asks if he agrees we can redirect the funding and he says yes (around 2:56 mark):

On another note, compare biden now to two years ago, he has really gone downhill.

Autocracy and repression are on the rise around the world.

Especially here in California. We have a do as I say, not as I do governor who seems more intent to give children rights over their parents, and illegal aliens rights over citizens.

  6. Interesting thread in regards to people's point of view.

    1. Ukraine is a severely corrupt nation in which the US (and several top politicians) have a vested interest. Just as I would like the names from Ghislane Maxwell (I may have spelled that wrong) I want the proof from Putin regarding bio labs (which have been confirmed) and the US's involvement. Put it out there and let the chips fall where they may.

    2. I am tired of the administration blaming inflation, and gas prices on Putin. Russian crude oil and petroleum product exports to the U.S. represent 8 percent of all its imported oil and less than 2 percent of the U.S. supply, an NBC News analysis of U.S. and European oil data found. Gas prices and inflation were on the rise before Putin invaded, unfortunately this administration is clueless, which is evidenced by the incomprehensible answers given by POTUS and the VP.

You forgot to add the US needs to become energy self-sufficient.

it's difficult to negotiate with an actor that is also trying to undermine your country by planting disinformation and meddling in our elections.

We have enough problems with the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, our own media, and politicians planting disinformation and meddling in our elections. We do not have safe and secure elections, and I applaud the states that have taken steps to help secure them. Nationwide voter ID would be a good start.

  7. Hi Steve,

I have 1 track labeled Australia Radio 1994 that I am trying to get more information regarding the date of the recording. It is one track of No Quarter, performed only with Jimmy on acoustic guitar and Robert singing (obviously). At the end of the song, Jimmy strums a few bars of Kashmir and the announcer comes on to say, "Nice, yay, the crack goes off behind glass walls, this is a special edition of the fast lane, that was great." And then it fades out. I know the 2 were in Australia in November, 1994. Being the human Jimmy Page GPS machine that you are, can you shed any further light on this recording? Perhaps, someone from Australia might know more about the program?? I would be happy to upload the track to a file sharing host and pm you the link if it would assist in any way. Thanks in advance.

  8. Wow, 10 years and six days later I stumble across this thread. I am surprised I didn't see it then. The original post and subsequent replies has everything from insider information to the Woke Left to outright moral condemnation. Man, I am proud to be able to post amongst the many saints of .com.

Led Zeppelin is an interest of mine, I enjoy their music and learning about the band on and off stage. Were they angels? No. Is anyone? No. I try to not judge their history through the goggles of today's society. To me, the late 1970's was a long fucking time ago. Things were different, no one complained, and no charges were pressed. Was it right? No, but they were young musicians with the world at their fingertips. So, it had to be expected at some level. There are many other musicians who can be listed as examples - Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Bowie, Jagger, etc. At least they aren't world leaders (who help shape the world we live/lived in on a greater level) hanging out with a known human trafficker. The world is a horrible place, be the best person YOU can be. But remember, Led Zeppelin is the band who cares, Jonesy even said so in that interview.

Thanks to the OP for the stories and to HereisMike1 for the interview, which I have, but never listened to until today.

Rand Paul has guts, remember when Trump had the big ceremony  at white house and Paul and his wife were leaving with Antifa and BLM screaming and threatening ? It was a most peaceful demonstration, Paul needs others to help him get this Fraudcci out  for good

Jim Jordan is apparently on the case, too!

Fauci is a total liar. I was too lazy to find the full videos, so I let those at TikTok do it for me. LOL

If you're British there are some completely different meanings here.  The line is 'if there's a bustle in your hedgerow....'
A bustle is 'a commotion, energetic movement'.
A hedgerow can be a euphemism for pubic hair.
The May Queen i supposed to be a pure maiden... so if there's a commotion going on in her pubes.... and Mayday is (was) a fertility festival.
I don't think I need to be any more specific.... 🙄

Robert discusses this very subject at 10:35 in this interview:

  11. Assuming these are rock guitarists and drummers you are looking for, my picks would have to be:

Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, David Gilmour, and Eddie Van Halen. All but EVH have tremendous feel and emotion to their playing, which is more important to me than technical ability, which EVH definitely had. Plus he was an innovator that changed guitar playing when he hit the scene. Honorable mention to Keith Richards for his rhythm guitar ability and Clapton, who is very talented, but bores me.

John Bonham, Keith Moon, Mitch Mitchell, Ian Paice, and Neil Peart. Again, players with more feel make up most of the list, with Peart the exception. He is phenomenal, but I don't like the way his drums sound or are tuned sometimes. Honorable mention to Bill Ward, Cozy Powell, and Nicko McBrain.
