  1. Yeah, I noticed that, too. Edit, they are both back up now.
  2. 59 and a nice breeze here in the Bay Area. No clouds, just wonderful, as far as I am concerned.
  3. Whoever invented these types of pants needs a Nobel Prize for Awesomeness.
  4. I like the Black Crowes, particularly their earlier stuff. Their shows with Jimmy were awesome, with the Jones Beach Amphitheatre show on 2000.07.10 a personal favorite.
  5. You need a DVD audio extractor, there are free ones out there, as well as 30 day trials of others. If it will not rip directly to mp3, there are other programs, like Trader's Little Helper (also free) that will encode the wav file to whatever you like.
  6. RIP Betty White, she always made me laugh.
  7. Well Brad, that was a big project, and one I have done similarly. Couple of notes: 1. Personally, I would go with the Communication Breakdown/Good Times, Bad Times jam from Sept 4, 1970. It isn't the longest version of GTBT (23 Sep 1971 is) but it is great, IMO. 2. The Rover was played (not complete) but significantly more than the intros used on tour during the soundcheck on 6 JUL 1973 in Chicago. 3. Carouselambra was played (4-5 min versions) at Clearwater Castle in May of 1978. 4. If you consider Led Zeppelin reunion performance w/Jason Bonham in your set list, would you consider Plant solo, JP & Black Crowes, or Page/Plant. That opens up Candy Store Rock, Custard Pie, Down By the Seaside, D'Yer Ma'ker, Hots on for Nowhere, In The Light, Living Loving Maid, Night Flight and Tea For One as potential additions. 5. There are some other songs, and snippets of songs from medleys and soundchecks that could be added. The studio session releases are a full of additional little treasures, as well as some careful editing to extract songs from medleys. Good work.
  8. John Entwistle John Paul Jones Geddy Lee Chris Squire Donald "Duck" Dunn
  9. I like (not really) how #FJB ran on his "plan to end the virus" and now says it is the state's responsibility to solve it. https://www.tiktok.com/@tiffany.sadie2.0/video/7046604243012291886?lang=en&is_copy_url=0&is_from_webapp=v1&sender_device=pc&sender_web_id=7033602357850031621
  10. Or you can Google "1975.05.25 thanks to 3hrsoflunacy" and you might a helpful link somewhere.
  11. Liriodendron is the username if a fella who has remastered several shows. I do not believe he frequents this site. I prefer his release over this new one. I think he did his back in 2011 or 2012, I don't have it in front of me to check.
  12. Yes, and it is no coincidence that both Let's Go Brandon and Cackling Kamala have both said there's been discussion about if democracies can survive or if autocracies are better. They want total control over us and people are too willing to listen to the fearmongering than pay attention to the ever changing narrative and hypocrisy of these peoples' actions.
  13. Yeah, I posted that a few pages back: Now, take covid and spell it backward and get divoc, derived from the Hebrew word dybbuk meaning an evil spirit capable of possessing other creatures. The evil spirit here is the governments of the world, IMO.
  14. I - Good Times, Bad Times II - Ramble On III - Since I've Been Loving You IV - The Battle of Evermore HOTH - The Ocean PG - Ten Years Gone Presence - Achilles Last Stand ITTOD - Fool In The Rain Coda - Bonzo's Montreux The Song Remains The Same 1976 Release - Celebration Day How The West Was Won - Bron-Y-Aur Stomp BBC Sessions - Thank You Celebration Day - Kashmir It's easier to pick least favorite song from each.
  15. Elvis 1972 Hampton Roads, VA https://youtu.be/rD26adA5mpo
  16. Probably in order of: 1. Rush - mostly pre-Signals album. 2. AC/DC 3. Elvis Presley 4. The Who 5. Pink Floyd (after Syd left) 6. Mozart Honorable Mentions: Yes, Stone Temple Pilots, Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, and Rolling Stones. Some you may laugh at: Alanis Morrissette, Irish music - including even pipes, flutes, folk music, The Corrs, Cranberries, BUT NOT U2.
  17. Roger Waters doing The Wall in Dec. 3rd, 2010 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA was my favorite. Some others I have enjoyed: 1. Aug 2000 - Irvine Amphitheater - Skid Row, Ted Nugent, KISS with all original members. Had 5th row tickets, which is hard to beat. 2. Plant - Oct 12, 1993 - Concord, Pavilion, Concord, CA. 3. RUSH - Jan 31, 1986 - Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena. (also saw them several other times in later years). 4. AC/DC - Nov. 9, 1983 - Rosemont Horizon, Rosemont, IL (also saw them 2 other times in later years). 5. Chicago - Aug 27, 1980, Poplar Creek Music Theater, Hoffman Estates, IL. 6. Hank Williams, Jr. - Aug 1, 1987 - Concord Pavilion, Concord, CA.
  18. I have always been fond of 175.03.11 because Bonzo's drums sound HUGE when he comes back in after JPJ's solo.
  19. Certainly, anything new is appreciated. But to complete an alpha and omega comparison there needs to be a recording of: 1968.09.07 - Teen Club Box 45, Egegaard Skole, Gladsaxe, Denmark (afternoon show)
  20. LOL It's never to late to acquire new tastes. Welcome.
  21. Gen-Xer here, and fwiw, I think the end year for the age group cohort goes out to the late 70's or even early 80's. But, I am at the end of the time frame you listed. Concerts aren't really my thing, but I did see Plant in 93 and had tickets to Page/Plant in 95 but had to leave town unexpectedly for work. I eventually got the video, which isn't the same, but that's my LZ encounters. My brother has seen JPJ play with some people.
