Well, we're talking about one of history's most "physical" bands.....as far as Daltrey goes, his signature move in later years (other than the mic swinging) was to run in place for the majority of the show.
Pete should have the right arm of a 25 year old.
I had the main meat of that album on casette for a long time, I had no idea of the actual track listing until I bought the CD in 1995.
Thanks for setting me straight.....I just haven't been able to find much about that mini-opera to like. (Rael)
Bonus tracks, deluxe editions, [insert marketing phrase here] It has more tracks available than the original, so I included it.
I found the additional tracks on Leeds, and Who's Next to be better than adding "Rael" to Sell out.
I have the deluxe versions of Leeds, Sell out, and Next, the extra tracks after the end of the original songlist from Who's next are particularly nice to have. I'm wearing out Baby, Don't You Do It, Water, and I Don't Even know Myself.
Great stuff!
The Heaven and hell album is a great rock record, I still listen to that one today. The early Black Sabbath is a whole nother animal though, indeed Ozzy is not a great singer, but i think it was that rough around the edges vocal that contributed largely to the haunting themes and sound of Sabbath. Think of Dio singing the line "What is this that stands before me" it wouldn't sound eerie at all, but with Ozzy singing it you questioned whether you were listening to a band, or a Seance.
