  1. Ha ha ha eoooowwwww, yeah. Presumably he stopped wearing them when he outgrew them; I can verify that a 29" waist does mature a little with time. I must be the only person on this site who didn't care for costumes, as nicely designed as they were, beyond velvet cropped jackets and skinny jeans.
  2. Wow how perfect, snow for Christmas and then it goes away. I'd like some of that!
  3. It snows in Milan? Never knew that. We are in for freezing rain mixed with snow tonight, a driving nightmare.
  4. Ha ha ah the 'fat pants' yeah, been there. Sounds yummy. I realize Mexican cuisine isn't authentic where I live so we have melted cheese on tortilla chips with salsa and guac and sour cream on the side. Good bar food with beer.
  5. Is there a biopic coming out on John Lennon? Do tell. I happened to end up at the Imagine garden in Central Park in 2005 on the 25th anniversary. There was an organic line of people that spiraled in to the Imagine marker and out again with several people playing songs on guitars in the freezing cold. It was moving to see little kids, teenagers, middle agers and older folks all remembering his spirit as one. I don't go in for meeting celebrities (I work with some so no starry eyes) but Lennon strikes me as someone I'd loved to have had a conversation with for the creative leaps that he seemed to take.
  6. I agree. I couldn't believe it when Harper was elected. But then Ford was elected mayor of Toronto. I can't believe he's allowed to remain in office while he prepares his appeal. What a buffoon.
  7. Thanks Sag Rising, that's good to hear because he's such a talent. I seriously thought people in the front row at the Albert's Hall show were going to have a Jimmy visitor.
  8. How cool was that? Thank you!
  9. Recently I happened across the DVD of the A.R.M.S. concert from 1983 at the Royal Albert Hall. That is the roughest I've ever seen Page, or anyone else for that matter who didn't fall off the stage. I'm not trying to be cruel or unkind, but wonder if this performance is indicative of his work in the 80s. I saw Led Zep back in '70 and '71 live, then not again until the O2 concert, so I was really surprised to see him in that shape.
  10. James Gang? Does anyone know if they are releasing/touring? That takes me back to my days in Cleveland - discovered that band when I was about 14!
