  1. In honor of Ravi's passing. I love his adorable story about Ravi showing him sitar tunings.

You ladies are pretty sweet on Ol' Jim-bo around here, huh? The man should have played the sitar more. I bet he could really kick some ass on that thing.

  2. me too, i fired up the motor yesterday and started to reverse, something didnt feel right, whn i got on the road the steering was really heavy and so i went down the road and i had to really pull on the wheel to steer, lucky i'm a muscle-bound adonis otherwise i would have crashed so i went back home but wow it feels expensive

Wow, man that sucks. I'm a weak little scrawny bastard, so I probably would've crashed, haha! But yeah, I have to replace a control arm and tires/alignment and soon.

  3. Since my smartass comment may not be what you really wanted to know, namely what the lyrics might mean, hereby a short and cool analysis posted here a week ago by the member who calls himself "Saggitarius Rising"

"If you really want to break STH down lyrically it means pretty much the following: When you are inexperienced in life material things are what is important. The world will try to deceive you with materialism, however if you ignore the bullshit around you and focus on the experience of life, accumulating wisdom, and loving your fellow human, you will find the right road to true salvation and liberation, that being freedom from material want."

I suppose that's as good analysis as any. It sort of has the story of the straight and narrow. There's a lot of talk of 'doubt' in this song.

With a word she can get what she came for

    What's the word?

  4. Reguarding to the Guitar World mag...in my honest opinon, they should have left the picture as nature intended. The boys look like they have been photoshopped to death.

Ain't that the fucking truth? It's like looking at three Ken dolls; it's sick. We're into guitars, not image (well, actually the jury is still out on that one) so save the airbrush for People magazine.

  5. 123skw.jpg

Despite the magazine's release date says June 1991, when was the picture taken and where?

I couldn't tell you where the picture was taken. But it's a mystery to me as to why anyone would wear a sleeveless t-shirt. Now Page has got the right idea. You can't go wrong in a Hawaiian silk shirt
