Floyd fans like the album, just not as much as they like other works. That's not a knock against it or anything, just that tastes vary even within the ranks of Floydian fandom. Personally, I think there's a couple great songs on there, but it's not favorite piece. I'm glad that you really like it, though.

I see. I guess it can be at bit to much psychedelic, and experimental for some people. I was familiar with some of the songs before, because of the Live at Pompeii video.

I just listened to A Saucerful of Secrets for the fist time, and I was blown away on how excellent this album was.

Truly a lost gem. I don't get why Floyd fans don't like this album.

My favorite Door's album is "The Soft Parade" and favorite song is "Wishful Sinful"

I love that tune!!!

It’s very rare I see others that mention that song as there favourite. Another great song from that album is the opener called Tell all the people. The Soft Parade album is very underrated.

Probably my least favorite Thin Lizzy song, not to mention one that Classic Rock radio played into the fuckin' ground eons ago. Like Stairway and Freebird and many others, I could go for years without ever having to hear it again. No fault of Thin Lizzy's own but that of radio programmers who are under the misguided notion that we want to hear the same exact shit over and over again.

I think I’ve heard that song more times then Stairway to Heaven, but its still puts a smile on my face. It probably never get dated and sound forever fresh in my ears.

Massacre is also brilliant tune.
