Thank you, Fernando! I seriously have always wanted to hear a gay guys perspective of Robert; nice to know they appreciate him too!
-
^I LOVE the cleft in his chin. My husband has one just like that and I think he grew a goatee, just so I would leave it alone! LOL
-
Tangerine by Led Zeppelin always reminds of summer as well...
-
So damn cheesy, but an old favorite!

Sorry about the awkward blank post, ladies. What I meant to say was that "The Song Remains The Same" was like Robert porn to me. I could watch him moving around in that little shirt and tight jeans for HOURS!
-
I just subscribed to your channel and I think I love you! He is just precious! I think Robert is a lot like me-if I get nervous or bored, I tend to ramble incessantly and some of it makes no damn sense. I'm sure when he added marijuana to the mix, things got worse-lol!

Thank you for posting the third one down (cuz good lord, it's hot). I found that pic a while back online, but the one I found was really small. Hope you don't mind I added it to my collection! Again, thanks

Songs you could hear again and again and again and again and again
Honeydrip79 replied to kripke's topic in Ramble On
I'm glad I'm not the only person who does this; I thought there was something wrong with me! It drives my husband crazy! Here are some recent songs I kept playing over and over for some reason: The Prisoner-Iron Maiden; Feeling That Way-Journey; Bring It On Home; Tangerine; That's The Way; Hey, Hey What Can I do-Led Zeppelin; Black Sabbath-Neon Nights; The Jack-ACDC; 2112; A Passage to Bangkok-Rush; Suffragette City-David Bowie...and many more! -
The one where he is wearing the fringed western shirt smoking is an old favorite of mine, ever since I saw it in the photo book that came with my boxed set! He looks so dreamy there...
-
Sorry if these have been posted before; I tend to forget what has been on here! <----One of my all time favorites! Also my current icon when I log into my computer....
-
Of course, I agree with you 110%! My mom despises Mick Jagger. I remember when I was a kid, something came on with the Rolling Stones on it and Mick Jagger had his shirt off. My mom said "he looks like a 12 year old boy." LOL
-
The way I read it he was #2 after Mick Jagger, which is totally wrong! I'm sorry but looks and general sexiness wise, Mick doesn't even come close to Robert!
-
Thought you ladies would certainly agree with the prestigious award just bestowed upon Robert by Ultimate Classic Rock.com...lol: http://ultimateclassicrock.com/robert-plant-too-sexy-rockers/

You are hilarious! I bet that is a pretty good assessment of what would happen though!

That is a great pic! Thank you Reswati; I bet Robert and Ronnie got along great!

Down By The Seaside... The story behind this song?
Honeydrip79 replied to IzzyBlues's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
I love that song! I always thought Jimmy's guitar sounded like he is playing underwater. From listening to the lyrics, I think Robert is advocating slowing down and enjoying the beauty the world has to offer us. -
I agree with you. I never got the chance to see Ronnie James Dio in concert, and I will always regret it. Not only was he a great singer, but from what I have heard, he was also an outstanding person as well. My husband and I were listening to the "Dehumanizer" album recently and my husband commented that Ronnie was in his 50's when that album came out and he still sounded as good as he did when he was 30. When I heard he died, I actually teared up, which I rarely ever do when a star/famous person dies. Ronnie was a special person and no one can ever replace him. I may get blasted, but Ronnie is my favorite singer of all time, above Robert Plant.

I agree. What an awesome lady! When I used to watch TSRTS, I always wished I was the princess. Oh hell; when I watch it now, I STILL want to be the princess; who doesn't?!?
-
It's funny you should say that! When I used to watch TSRTS obsessively and still lived at home, my mom used to say that she swore Robert was wearing a ladies shirt; it does look a lot like one! Kudos to him for wearing whatever the hell he wanted and being comfortable enough in his manhood to do so. Percy-you rock that ladies shirt!

HMV Classic Collection-Led Zeppelin IV
Honeydrip79 replied to Honeydrip79's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
I think I am definitely going to hang on to it. That Japanese box set looks really neat too, but I don't think I can justify spending $800 on it! -
I don't know how many metal heads are on here, but my last concert was Megadeth at the Midland Theater in KC, MO in November 2012. I was a little disappointed because they sounded very worn out and tired. I saw them in 2009 and it was amazing. I hope to be able to see Iron Maiden in September in KC. Would love to see Rush also.
