I play drums, I have been for eleven years! I love my Bonham sized Slingerlands!

That Slingerland Kit was super cool, it was a green sparkle 22x14, 9x13, 16x16. It was actually his own personal kit that he used with Band of Joy, he used it to record Led Zeppelin 1! It was also used with Zildjian Cymbals, when he got the Thermo Gloss drums in 1969 is when he fully switched to Ludwig and Paiste. Additionally, in between this kit and the maple kit he had a Ludwig Black Diamond Pearl set for only a couple of months from December '68 - February '69 it can be seen in pictures from Gonzaga '68 and the Whiskey a go go in January of '69.

Hey, I've been looking around on YouTube and elsewhere about the way Bonham played this beat. Everyone I've seen play this beat plays it with on hand on the high hat and plays the groove that way. But the way I hear it he plays with two hands on the high hat, going R-L-R-L-R-R-L-R-L-R-L-R. I have been playing it this way for a long time and it sound great and it also sound just like he plays it. I should have a video on YouTube soon with me playing it. But what do you think?

I think that their the best because of just raw talent. It really shows in their music.

How do you guys play fool in the rain? I have checked out lots of drum covers but nobody plays it the way I do. I play with both hands on the high hat, when others only do one. the way I here it John Bonham plays it with two and the sheet music I have has it written with two hands so how do you guys play it?
