  1. Awesome work to put this together! I was at both June 21 and 26 shows and they were both incredible. Obviously 6/21 stands out as not only the best show of the six nights but one of their best shows ever. Having my own recording of the night made it even more memorable.
  2. I am looking to acquire a copy of the black label Japanese import Listen to This Erik. It’s my own recording but I’m looking for a copy to present to Erik’s family. I know that they have been touched by the support of the LED Zeppelin community. Please let me know if someone will sell me one. Thank you.
  3. Thank you so much for dedicating this amazing film to my friend Erik. It was an incredibly generous gesture that I know really touched his family and especially his widow Mary. As well as me. Thank you!!  Erik is the second friend with us that night that we have lost to cancer. The film left me speechless (a rarity). It was such an incredible trip down memory lane. One advantage of having had my recording of the 6/21 show for all these years is that I have such vivid memories of that night even 43 years later.  Many more great memories were brought back by this film. It’s a great gift for anyone fortunate enough to have been there for those shows. Thank you for a great film and your thoughtfulness.! RIP EH! RIP SK! Cancer Sucks!

Gary — this is so incredibly kind. I’m very honored you enjoyed Badgeholder Blues and it was only the right thing to dedicate it to your friend Erik.

  4. The film is awesome. I watched almost The whole movie today. I can’t even imagine the amount of work that went into this. I’d really like to say thank you to Ledzepfilms for dedicating the film to my friend Erik of Listen to This Erik reknown. Erik passed peacefully from cancer on June 18. It was a gesture that both I and his widow Mary and their family appreciated so much.
  5. I just wanted to pass along that my lifelong friend and fellow Led Zeppelin fanatic Erik has passed away from cancer. We were friends for 55 years years and although Erik doesn’t remember much about that night I do. He has always said that the only thing that he remembers is that he had a gooood time! He did! When Plant and Page toured in 1995 and I got tickets, the first thing that I did was invite Erik. We sat about 10 rows up side stage for the second night and Jimmy’s guitars were lined up on our side. Erik and I went to the rail and just stared. Erik was absolutely ecstatic. Great memories of a great friend. RIP My Friend! I miss you!
  6. Very cool that you were at that 6/21 show too! I've been to over 500 shows at least and the intensity of both the band and the crowd that night have never been matched! And it's not even close!. The funniest thing is looking at the price on your ticket stub- $5.25. I paid $6.75 for first row above walkway right at corner of the stage on JPJ's side. I saw where someone posted that you wrote a great post about that show. I'd love to read that. Is it still on the Forum site? Hopefully I'll get that new version out ASAP. Take care, Gary

My avatar is of my 1972 Forum ticket stub. For the 1977 shows I paid around $9. Look for "Strider's 1977 Tour Thread" in the Main Section of the Zep forum.
