  1. Visually, it was great. They had girls dancing all over. Acrobats, dwarf on motorcycle. Lee doing a drum solo on a plateform high above the ground. It was my first show in a big arena so it was a great experience. But i'm not to big of a fan of their music. But hell! we had free tickets, so I would've been such a fool not to go!
  2. Unfortunately, I've lost my Focus and Blue Cheer stubs.
  3. Bienvenue, Manta.

  4. That was an excellent reading and the writer is quite right. I want to buy this damn boxset but hell! a blu-ray player is 500$ and how much the box will cost if it's a 10 discs set? 200$? I love Neil with all my heart but I do hope he's going to release it on CD... or vinyl. Let's keep our fingers cross!
  5. Fillmore East!! I'm buying it... for sure!! AND what about the Archives???? C'mon Neil!
  6. Sweet Virginia - The Rolling Stones
  7. Freak Out! is a good choice too. and if you can find it, Imaginary Diseases is an excellent live album, all instrumental with a 12 piece band, in 1972. Over-Nite Sentation is a great start if you didn't heard much of Frank's music. or Joe's Garage and Sheik Yerbouti for the humoristic songs. another great live album is You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore, Vol. 2. It's full concert in Helsinki in 1973. A very strong concert! Highly recommended.
  8. Fabulous. Thank you very much Pagemeister
  10. Mister Young Ambulance Blues Back in the old folky days The air was magic when we played. The riverboat was rockin' in the rain Midnight was the time for the raid. Oh, Isabela, proud Isabela, They tore you down and plowed you under. You're only real with your make-up on How could I see you and stay too long? All along the Navajo Trail, Burn-outs stub their toes on garbage pails. Waitresses are cryin' in the rain Will their boyfriends pass this way again? Oh, Mother Goose, she's on the skids Shoe ain't happy, neither are the kids. She needs someone that she can scream at And I'm such a heel for makin' her feel so bad. I guess I'll call it sickness gone It's hard to say the meaning of this song. An ambulance can only go so fast It's easy to get buried in the past When you try to make a good thing last. I saw today in the entertainment section There's room at the top for private detection. To Mom and Dad this just doesn't matter, But it's either that or pay off the kidnapper. So all you critics sit alone You're no better than me for what you've shown. With your stomach pump and your hook and ladder dreams We could get together for some scenes. I never knew a man could tell so many lies He had a different story for every set of eyes. How can he remember who he's talkin' to? 'Cause I know it ain't me, and I hope it isn't you. Well, I'm up in T.O. keepin' jive alive, And out on the corner it's half past five. But the subways are empty And so are the cafes. Except for the Farmer's Market And I still can hear him say: You're all just pissin' in the wind You don't know it but you are. And there ain't nothin' like a friend Who can tell you you're just pissin' in the wind. I never knew a man could tell so many lies He had a different story for every set of eyes How can he remember who he's talking to? Cause I know it ain't me, and hope it isn't you.
  11. The Rolling Stones' best opus on their third best record... Gimme Shelter The mood of it is... phantomatic.
  12. What? That's for things like that, that we hate the rest of Canada.
  13. Back in the days when good Ol' Calixa wrote the Anthem, It was meant as a Patriotic song for the French Canada, but someone stole it from us... So, each time you're singing it, just remember you're singing a Quebecois patriotic song!
  14. They're one of my Top 5 favorite acts, ever! I can't even pick a favorite album, there is so much! It's such a shame that Keith and John are gone...
