  1. I'm surprised the picture of Robert with his pants down at the Knebworth photo shoot hasn't made an appearance on this thread.
  2. Does anyone have the picture with out the words??? It's an awesome shot.
  3. I actually hunted out this thread immediately after viewing this video. You beat me to it. Shame something as great as the almighty Led Zeppelin should be associated with Trump
  4. I recently obtained a copy of the Scorpio release "Studio Sessions Ultimate" (Scorpio LZ-07001~12). There's a ton of great stuff on it, but I think the Cabala release is better. Anyway, on Disc 7, Track 10, we hear a piano being played. According to the Disc, this session is solely Jimmy Page playing. Does anyone know if this is actually Page? I mean the playing is pretty good, and I've never heard him play the piano anywhere. Maybe one of you can shed some light on this mystery...
  5. +1 on the Ernie Ball Regular Slinky. I use them on my Les Paul as well. The 10's feel great on my fingers. I use 9's on my Strat though. My three acoustics all have D'Addario Phosphor Bronze EJ16's (.012-.053 on them). So to sum it up, for acoustic, I recommend the 12 guage Phosphor Bronze's, but I would totally recommend the Regular Slinky's for electric. They jut feel great. I've also heard that those are the strings Pagey used.... Hmmm.....
  6. I like the color but I've heard bad things about the D-Tuna's.
  7. This is taken from this longer session. Poor Tom starts somewhere after the 25 minute mark. This is one of my favorite sessions. Zep at their finest. I think Robert may be the one playing at the beginning.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Usn0GfH4tic
  8. This is honestly the best performance of How Many More Times ever. period.
  9. I was not implying anything but you name, Plantpothead. By the way, thanks moneythumb.
  10. Being as goods as them is not the point Mr. Pothead. I am trying to achieve a similar sound.
  11. We'll still go walking down country lanes, I'll sing the same old songs, hear me call your name.
  12. For that price you should get an Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus with Gibson '57 pups. It sounds amazing
