  1. Bob Dylan Blues, Here I Go, Effervescing Elephant are genuinely pleasant, enjoyable tunes.
  2. The Song Remains the Same, of course! (2007 reissue) Some other favorites: Primus-Suck on This Jimi Hendrix-Live at Woodstock, Band of Gypsys HTWWW
  3. Live Primus is a great thing. Saw them in 2006 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, saw Les Claypool with C2B3 and once with his Fancy Band, always had a blast. Do you remember what year you saw them or what album you owned? You should check out my Primus thread, I've posted lots of goodies in there! http://forums.ledzeppelin.com/index.php?/topic/21019-primus/
  4. Hell yea man, just started school last week and already get a day off! Hey there's Zappa Picks!!! Thanks man, been wanting to give that one a listen. Just listened to Muffin Man for the first time the other day, good stuff.
  5. Lol I can definitely relate to that.
  6. Sup Wally! Ler is the reason I got into Zappa, he's probably my 2nd favorite guitar player to Jimmy. I found the CaCa (lol) vid while looking for this, I used to own this cd, couldn't find it on YouTube though: Yea I posted Possessed:Seven Churches in your metal thread, used to listen to that one all the time, I've heard Blind Illusion a few times, should probably give them a few more spins.
  7. ^This. To much treble, to thin. Appreciate the effort, but I'll stick with The Jimi Page Experience.
  8. Ok lets try this John. Forget the stuff they plagiarised for now, and just listen to the original stuff. Still a pretty great body of work, no? I think so.
  9. Hey man I would like to have a listen but there is nothing there when I click the link.
  10. 1970-09-19 (Evening Show) Born To Please (Eddie Edwards Remaster)
  11. The more I listen to 'Born to Please', the more I think it is the definitive version. Everything is very well balanced and as clean as I've heard.
  12. He sounds a little tentative during the solo. Probably felt he still hadn't mastered it live yet, just look what he did to the L'Olympia version!
