I am now retired from my 35 year career of breeding and racing harness horses and now work at our local racetrack teaching people how to handicap horses and "play the ponies". Racing was a "job" like no other in terms of both excitement and heartbreak and was able to travel Canada and U.S. extensively - even a 7 month stint racing in Sweden.
Was first introduced to Led Zeppelin and many other great bands of the day in 1970 - the wonderful time of Peace and Love. An era of simpler times and just really great music which I find so many people are going to re-visit in a passionate way, myself included.
Currently am in love with Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar but confess it took more than 1 listen to feel this way. People must think I'm nuts driving around with this and Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac, etc. on full blast considering I'm now 61 but really, I don't care - they don't know what they don't know.
My other interests is the Back to Eden type of vegetable gardening and practising random acts of kindness.
