  1. I have them on a bootleg, they're both acoustic tunes. Also, "Operator" is on "66 to Timbuktu" as well.
  2. Robert recorded two songs with Korner. "Steal Away" and "Operator".
  3. Let me know how everything comes out, OK?
  4. Which is the ONLY reason Woody still has a job.
  5. Rod's a tool. The ONLY comparison ever made that I'm aware of is that they both covered "You Shook Me". And Jeff was probably upset that the Zep version blew theirs into the dust. I guess that would trouble me a bit too. Hey Rod- here's one for you. It took TWO of you, you and your buddy Woody, to replace ONE member of the Faces. And even at that, the band was only half as talented afterwards. Put that in yer fuckin' pipe and smoke it.
  6. And if you play it at 45rpm backwards you'll get "The Crunge".
  7. If you play that line backwards you get "Stairway To Heaven". All 8 minutes of it.
  8. Watch it tank, big-time. It would serve him right for jacking all his fans off for 14 years. Quite honestly, I don't see what the draw is anyway.
  9. You're not putting them in the right place then. Put them in your EYES next time.
  10. Get the DVD too! Not only do you get to SEE it, but you'll hear some onstage banter and even one false start that wasn't on the CD. Plus the sound quality is fantastic.
  11. I have both. I have the 2 disc version of DT, which is the only way to go. Also have a few live shows, Jerry simply KILLS on those. He does a absolutely perfect "Brain Damage", I might add. This is my Cantrell site: Jerry Cantrell Feel free to join in!
  12. "Christ on a cracker!!" That's what I think to myself every time I read one of Spats' posts.
  13. "Ghosts" yes. I've had a couple of weird encounters, let's just say that. And I wasn't stoned. And my family has mentioned other encounters. As far as the rest of it, I'd need to see proof.
  14. Oh hell yeah. Great stuff, except you get the censored version of "Man In The Box".
  15. Let's see...this is gonna be fun! Brother Down In A Hole No Excuses Grind Frogs (live Unplugged version) I Can't Remember Real Thing Don't Follow Nutshell Right Turn Queen Of The Rodeo "I ain't no queer, go fuck a steer" Dam That River Dirt Would Eh screw it. I love it ALL. Anyone else have the "Music Bank" box set? Priceless.
  16. NOW WE'RE TALKING!!!!! Alice In Chains is an awesome band. I've seen them live, and what a LOUD show they put on too. I've got every disc available and then some.. Layne Staley was a fantastic singer. His replacement William DuVall ain't Layne, but he sings the songs with passion in a manner respectful of Layne. If you get a chance to see a show, DO!
  17. This oughta take us on another 150 page Spatsathon... And we sure do have some lovely ladies here. Cheers!
  18. MOOSE TURD PIE A Favorite Hunting Camp Recipe 1 prepared pie crust 1 pkg. crust strips 1-2 large moose turds Salt and pepper Buy a prepared pie crust and put it in a pie dish, then locate a moose. Hold pie dish under mooses' asshole until it shits. When full, take back to the kitchen, season with salt and pepper and apply crust strips over top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until crust is slightly lighter than the contents. Let cool and serve. Feeds and straightens the attitude out of 2-3 assholes who refuse to take turns cooking.
  19. HORSE STEW One medium sized horse, dressed and skinned 100 lb. bag russet potatoes 50 lbs. carrots 15gal. tomato sauce 3 gals. Tabasco 25 lbs. corn 25 lbs. peas Salt and pepper to taste Cut the horse into bite size pieces and brown in a 55 gallon drum. Add liquid ingredients and simmer till horse meat starts to get tender. Cut up all your potatoes and add. Cook until potatoes are nearly done, then add the rest of the veggies. Simmer until all veggies are tender and meat starts to fall apart. Serve with a fine Cabernet. Feeds 100.
  20. The STP reunion will be short lived, just for the sake of a short tour. VR isn't going anywhere, there will be more. Got that info from a Slash interview, so it's most likely reliable.
  21. The Stooges, "Fun House" from the "Telluric Chaos" live album. What an ass-kicker!
  22. The same way Bonzo did.
