  1. Just a quick question for you guys... I saw the new LZ CD's at Walmart tonight, and they said there was a digital download inside but didn't specify what format. If that was the HD download, that would be one heck of a deal at $13.99 per CD. Does anyone know what format those downloads are in?
  2. These remasters, to me, definitely sound different from the Mastered for iTunes releases that we got over a year ago. Can anyone else confirm?
  3. Good points. The main source of sticker shock for me is that I'm used to buying iTunes music
  4. It's hard to believe HDtracks is charging $30 per album. It would be cheaper to buy the Super Deluxe, use the card, then sell the remainder of the set on eBay...
  5. Everything is officially available for purchase on iTunes
  6. SummerOfMySmiles, I can download the files for you from the service provider, upload them to my Dropbox account, and then send you a link to download them if you want.
  7. Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones. They are studio quality monitoring headphones. The sound quality is absolutely stunning and crystal clear. I got a pair for my birthday a week ago, and I can't believe how amazing they are. They can be had for $120 new on Amazon. Would definitely recommend for these remasters.
  8. Interesting article here, saying that Apple will be using these new Led Zeppelin rereleases to kick off the sale of high res audio files in their store. http://www.macrumors.com/2014/04/10/high-definition-itunes-music-downloads/
  9. I have a large amount of credit to Amazon too, which means I'll be reluctantly buying from them at the higher price even if it doesn't go down. I heard somewhere though that B&N is going out of business, so they might be selling at a lower price than Amazon can afford to. I will tell them about the lower price, however, and see what happens.
  10. Not sure if this has been discussed or not, but I just found that the Super Deluxe Box Sets are selling for $104.99 on Barnes and Noble with free shipping. That's more than $10 cheaper per set than the current price on Amazon. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/led-zeppelin-2-led-zeppelin/27529098?ean=81227964375
  11. Jimmy Page just had an interview the other day discussing the remasters... I haven't heard anything about what he had to say. Has anyone else?
  12. Has anybody heard anything about Jimmy Page's interview?
  13. Same here. Haha I'm just hoping I can find some way to get the HD downloads without shelling out for the Super Deluxe sets
