  1. Doesn't mean i don't want to hear a recording. Bring it on.
  2. This is officially speculation, but i'm not aware of recorded evidence with proves otherwise.
  3. That's fair. After 40 years, i only watch with 0 expectations and hopes for the best. But if my team, the Vikings, decides to relocate, and it's, say, Portland, Boise or Vegas.. fuckin a.. I'm interested to see what an NFL package to Vegas is like. As someone who doesn't gamble, i was forever not interested in Vegas. I ended up flying in in 2014 to see Motorhead open for Megadeth and had a blast. They didn't know i wasn't going to leave my money behind, but they still treated me as a valued customer. 24 hour food, drink.. now weed's legal. Dunno what took so long, but i seems like perfect timing for Vegas and the NFL to fly me in for a good time. I'm definitely more likely to fly into Vegas than Minneapolis for a game. And to coordinate a show with a game, let's do it. And your team relocated there. Like, congratulations.
  4. Certainly the iconic guitar riff. 1994/95 Plant & Page "No Quarter" does not reference either classic riff from 1972, JPJ's or JP's. It's essentially presented as a new song. Convenient, since JPJ is not involved in the project. By 1998 P&P are comfortable enough to (again without JPJ), present the song in it's 1970's form. The keyboard riff is pure JPJ, and for me, the guitar riff was always a nod to/lift/homage to Machine Gun. To make "No Quarter" the centerpiece of LZ reunion/revival/celebration without JPJ, never made any sense to me. In fact, it seemed almost a direct insult.
  5. It appears you've been a Raider fan since long before they were in L.A. What difference does Vegas make? They're still the Raiders. Tradition, loyalty and personal history have no impact here? A mute point for now. I don't expect there will be a season this year.
  6. Lol This theory makes a lot more sense to me than the idea that the band couldn't develop a live version of ITL.
  7. Exactly. There is no solution to satisfy everyone's set list wish list. Honestly, the JP quote comes off to me like him saying there was no more spotlight time available for JPJ. What JPJ may have said would have more credence, if he really didn't want to attempt it. But for a guy who chose to struggle with the limitations of the Mellotron, it seems strange he would shy away from a chance to be creative with synthesizers given the chance, especially on one of his signature tunes.
  8. Don't twist it. Just provide accurate information. Or fuckin' don't.
  9. Don't twist it. Just provide accurate information. Or fuckin' don't.
  10. You did? You read it somewhere? When you can provide the documentation that absolves your continued bullshit, let me know.
  11. Please, enough already with the weak attempt at definitive statements. Nothing was impossible if LZ was so inclined. For the most part, all of their live renditions were interpretations of their studio work. They could have produced a great live interpreted version of ITL if they wanted to. They chose not to. What is and what should never be. Everything that happened was perfect in it's own way. While the set list remained static, every show, every song, every moment was unique, and that is why the shows are still collected and scrutinized. If we had 76 versions of "The Rover" or "Custard Pie", we would be here wondering why we don't have any live versions of "Sick Again". Led Zeppelin delivered and truly, you've got everything you need to be satisfied. And new recordings/remasters keep coming. Just enjoy.
