    New Peter Grant Book

Thanks, Zep Head. I'd forgotten about this book for some reason so will pick it up next time I'm in Waterstones.
  2. Jimmy Page has come out this week & said there will be no reunion so we can definitely put that one to bed. A 2018 live release also looks dead in the water now.
  3. Nice one, let us know if there's any information about a potential new release (I'm guessing not). Goes on sale in the shops on the 23rd October I think (the MOJO magazine I mean).
  4. I still go back & listen to the companion discs for III, HOTH & Coda fairly regularly, I don't think they're 'rubbish' at all & I'm really glad I have them. Some of the others I can take or leave but I like to have them there for reference. I'm really happy that the whole project was undertaken.
  5. Because then people wouldn't spend £50 on the book?
  6. That's desparate stuff. Embarrassing.
  7. Ha ha, aye - looks like you are. Have a great weekend anyway.
  8. I think it's just the melodramatic way you post at times that attracts it, Led Zeppelin is pretty important to everyone on here I would guess.
  9. I've resigned myself to being happy with the Led Zeppelin music that I have, I really don't think we're getting some mystical new live album now. Not the end of the World.
  10. I'll be 89. I'll also be dead so looking forward to not buying the re-mastered TSRTS to celebrate.
  11. If he throws the guitarist off that's fine with me, I'll stick it on as soon as I get home tonight
  12. I'll need to go back & listen to it, I had it on in the background on Sunday & didn't hear a mistake. Maybe I should leave it though, I hate hearing a Bonham mistake.
  13. I don't have a car & it's not a 'card', it's called perspective. I come on here to discuss Led Zeppelin & their music positively, because I love them. I find all the hand wringing & wailing about what Robert Plant is doing now beyond tedious if I'm honest. Two of them didn't turn up for a book launch, it's a shame but in the grand scheme of things, it's not really worth getting upset about.
  14. I'm only messing, I don't to take these things as seriously as you do. There are people starving to death in the World, some millionaire rock star not turning up to a book launch isn't particularly high on my list of things that are 'beyond sad'.
  15. It is, I've had three failed suicide attempts since. I mean the carpet clearly cares more about the book launch than John Paul Jones. How does he sleep at night?
  16. I always thought it was Bonham's bare hands on a guitar case. Somebody should definitely ask one of the remaining members if they get the chance. Is Eddie Kramer on Twitter? *Goes to look for Kramer on Twitter
  17. New music & tours? Did you miss one of them dying & the band announcing it had broken up? That happened almost 40 years ago by the way.
  18. I love this. Playing shuffles when you've had a few is a nighmare.
  19. I was at the Munich gig in 1980 & conducted a survey of every attendee there & can confirm that 7,500 fans were US servicemen & 7,500 fans were Europeans so you're all wrong, it was 50/50.
