  1. I slept in my car overnight in a blizzard in the parking lot of ticketmaster to get Firm tickets. I was like fifth in line and I still got seats in the back.
  2. Classic Pix! Where's the one of you next to jimmy onstage at the 02????
  3. it's Stumblin' In http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEX-exLd8BY enjoy
  4. Alice is awesome. I've seen him about ten times now. Atlantic City and Verona, NY this past year. He always puts on an awesome show. There was only once where I didn't really think it was that great. Now he's got a killer guitarist. He did like a spanish guitar solo which was frigging awesome. Like a damned bandido or something. they also have the coolest drum solo where the drummer solos and the two guitar players put their guitars down and go up to the drums and there are drums facing each of them also and they do like a dueling drumming thing between the guitar players and the drummer. Very very cool. Have never seen that anywhere before. He also played the ballad of dwight fry this tour...
  5. Was just channel surfing and saw a chick with a zeppelin t-shirt on. It was on the style channel. she was getting married and wanted to get a makeover for the wedding. she was in jeans and a killer zeppelin shirt. the stylists told her that she needs to get rid of the shirt. she said that she loves her teens and her music. gotta love it!!! They told her she can pay respect to her music without wearing a guys t-shirt. OK. It's a show called How Do I Look? on the style channel.
  6. Back in the eighties I remember seeing something on TV that said ..at the time.. the Scorpions had the loudest show going. I've seen maybe 200 shows and only one did I have ear damage. My ears actually rang loudly for two full days after the show. I was really really scared. It was yngvie malmsteen two years ago. I never saw him and always wanted to. He rocked my world, literally!! Wouldn't the loudest show be at the largest venue. I'm thinking how huge woodstock 99 was. it seems if you ever put that much power...inside...it would literally blow the roof off. but i'm not a techie. The 02 was extremely loud also. Front row jimmy side. It was not the loudest I've ever heard, but by far the most amazing. I could only wish I saw the original.
  7. Heaven and Hell - Black Sabbath
  8. knockin' on heavens door - eric clapton
  9. Because it's Led Zeppelin at their best. Definitely the best track on this album. It shows Bonzo's amazing speed and timing. Jimmy's blazing solo and robert's mythical lyrics and his superextended range. John Paul holds it all together. Each of the greatest musicians all in the same band.
  10. Alice Cooper at House of Blues in Atlantic City. Great show. Alice sounds, well, like Alice. Raw and mean! Got up to 7th row center. Never that close to Alice before. God is he one ugly dude. LOL. eleventh time for him. first was in 86. Cool drum solo. Two of the guitar players had drums set up on the side of the main drum kit. during the solo they all jammed. That was cool and unique(I thought anyway). He played many favorites including the Ballad of Dwight Fry which is my personal favorite in concert.
  11. What was it about working with Led Zeppelin made them stand out more than any other bands you have worked with?
  12. Alice Cooper at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino on 10/28 then Alice Cooper at the House of Blues, Showboat Casino, Atlantic City, NJ.
  13. Yes, Robert is afraid to play rock and roll. P.S. you are right, i'm still not over it.
  14. NICE! I love the orig. Nothing will ever compare to them except zep. Funny thing though, my choice of songs that best defines sabbath is The Sabbath Stones off of TYR. Although the original four are far better than the TYR album. But that one song just exemplifies the "sabbath" feel. I would give anything to see ozzy sing it.
  15. Gong to the Metal Masters Tour. Testament, Motorhead, Judas Priest and Heaven and Hell(Black Sabbath with Dio). I have seen H&H twice in the past year+. First with Megadeth and then with Alice Cooper. Awesome shows but I was not up close. This time I'm 4th row in the pit, hopefully in front of Tony. He is guitar god #2, after Mr. Page, of course. Wednesday nite in Camden. One of my favorite venues. At the top of the lawn you can look out over the park, the river, the ben franklin bridge and the philly skyline. Then look down and see the show! Great place to party it up!
  16. Rush...Live at Saratoga Performing Arts Center NY. Youtube from 7/5/08. They still sound great. Imagine how incredible Zep would sound if they toured as often as Rush.
