  1. Most of Presence. I got the album about the same time as most of the rest , listened to it but it didn't thrill me like the others. Years later I went back and and loved it
  2. Maybe since Swan Song was released as Midnight Moonlight he felt it not necessary. I wonder if he still has a master tapes for FIRE. What I really wanted was the extended All of My Love , which I think is fantastic. Maybe he's saving something for the 100th Anniversary of the band..
  3. If THIS is how they feel they can market to millenials, it is beyond sad. My 10 year nephew only gets to listen to Zep, Stones, ACDC, Johnny Cash etc and he LOVES them!
  4. Hi, yes it looks fantastic. Please send me a link and thank you!
  5. St. Louis 2/16/75 is definitely Under rated. Actually I think LA Blueberry Hill ( yes, its great) is over rated since I like Oakland 10/2/70 better
  6. It got a little too much like ELP and Rick Wakemen during those segments. Eliminating 15 min from Dazed and NQ and the entire 30 of Moby and replacing it with an hour of 5 other songs would have been preferred. But I guess they all need a BREAK as the show went on
  7. While watching the R Kelly series, I felt I couldn't get too judgmental about the underage 14 year old girl consensual sex aspect. Sure made me queasy though.
  8. Songs and especially drum, guitar solos longer than 20 minutes are horribly self indulgent and rarely interesting. I can deal with it listening at home to a degree as I can get things done but at a concert it would have been quite boring
  9. Oh joy, looks like we can get a snow board Check out @LedZepNews’s Tweet: https://twitter.com/LedZepNews/status/1087490517913554944?s=09
  10. They are saving the back for the 100th anniversary design
  11. Beatles, Stones, Zep, Who are my Mt Rushmore.
  12. Enjoying the Beatles 50th White Album, Hendrix 50th Electric Ladyland and the Kinks 50th Village Green. All great, comprehensive packages. I guess Zeppelin taking a Pass this year. I don't count the book as anything special
  13. The crying shame is that Zeppelin and Grant didn't have the foresight to properly record and document their history with just a few exceptions which we mostly already have. I ve given up hope that there are any surprises left in the vault. I just hope the rest of the board tape from 9/28 and 9/29 trickle out eventually
  14. Since we got Black Dog from 9/28, its gotta be assumed a chunk of, if not all, of that show is out there. Will be very interesting to see what comes out. Will go the torrent route for now until I feel a complete recording is available
  15. Plant participated actively in 2 Page & Plant tours as I recall, of which virtually the entire show consisted of Zeppelin music. I saw them twice and it was glorious, especially since I was too young to have seen Zeppelin. The 02 show was the perfect live finale for the band. I have no complaints with Mr. Plant
  16. I'll wait for a torrent for now and see if a better release comes out in the future. Gotta keep the lights on in the house..
  17. I don't have children. Anyone have an extra I can use to get this? lol
  18. Between seeing two fantastic Page&Plant concerts and having a 07 dvd, they played any Zep song Id ever hope to hear in fabulous form. Any thing else at this point isn't necessary if they have no interest in continuing
  19. A reunion would bring out the people who would just complain that it' s not as good as 1972, the set list has too many warhorses , they look old, can' t play or hit the notes blah blah blah.. Just check out IORR everytime the Stones play. So much negativity instead of appreciation for what you got.
  20. I' m not sure why everyone is So upset there's been no reunion. First John is dead. 2nd we did get the fantastic 07 performance with Jason. And we had 2 Page&Plant tours which were fantastic and 90% Led Zep music. At this stage of life, any further reunion efforts I feel would pale to these previous performances.
  21. I grew up in Kansas City and rumor was they were either booed in 69 or something pissed them off to make them never to play there again
  22. How the West was REALLY Won. Actually reminds me how irritated I was, and am, That Jimmy butchered the concert with edits.
  23. What is needed now is the STUDIO BOOTLEG DISC with extended AOML, FIRE, SWAN SONG, etc and we all would be happy.
  24. I LOVED the independent record stores which sold bootlegs. Got my first Destroyer and Blueberry Hill that way. Now its all expensive Japanese cds and free downloads
