  1. It is.my opinion and belief that they.multi tracked a rehearsal from the O2 arena on December 9th. We have not seen or heard the 'soundcheck', but some were.able to describe it, as it was open to some ticket holders. I'm up for a third version of this gig. They did a great job of being trippy and bluesy at the same time.
  2. Frankly id like to own the Easter egg patch,. The black and white one is chunky in the legs. lo rez is hilarious. The belt buckle could be used to make a mold for chocolate. That's what.id do, if id did all.sorts of stuff.
  3. Robert did this gig in the character of Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant. That is a hard to pin down quality and I suspect Robert thought directly about how to bring the right Robert to the O2 show. He did a lot of Page Plant gigs as solo Robert feat. Jimmy Page.
  4. Also, Robert complains in print about the amount of paperwork he has to sign for Mr Page.
  5. Jimmy broke his finger before the show. I figure Robert thought to himself "the accidents you make a habit" or 'Zeppelin Curse zeppelin curse, aaaaggghhhhh!', and got out.

  7. I got through a long one from the early 80s, and by the end felt it was a likely reference for Hammer of thr Gods by Stephen Davis.
  8. I recall Robert claiming that John Paul Jones gave him a car to persuade him not to use the vocal (for the reissue)

  10. "She's Crafty" by the Beastie Boys was the first one I ever heard.. samples or imitates segment of The Ocean riff
  11. I went for quite a few years thinking JPJ bought out Robert's publishing in 1983, and I was willing to try that on for size as a reason for the gap between them, but lately I've gotten the notion that Robert got publishing rights restored as part of the 1990 Zeppelin Remasters (and aborted 1990 full Led Zeppelin reunion tour).. reminds me, I recall the Boston Globe with an article claiming tickets would be on sale at the Boston Garden the very next day. like we got really close that time..
  12. I was reading "David Copperfield" by Charles Dickens and guess who was there? I came over to alert y'all to Knox Fortune, but we'll rock with this tonight. I'll be sharing Knox Fortune in a day or so. Hope u'l give him a chance.
  13. To me The Monkees are about Carol King, Gerry Goffin and NEIL DIAMOND..songwriters extrordinaire.
  14. I remember that. I was in the radio market of DesMoines Iowa, and I remember the adults sticking up for the old lead singer. It seems totally fair to blame these guys for the "power ballad" genre. Unless you want to blame Nazareth/Love Hurts.
  15. Many of us know 77 from amateur recordings exclusively. This bootleg collector thinks 1977 is a return to powerful singing for Mr.Plant, however it's easy to forget this gig ever happened without a recording in circulation.
  16. On this day (March 14th) in 1977 Led Zepplin sold out an April gig in St.Louis Missouri.

  18. Loves me some Alice Cooper Group.esp Easy Action LP.
  19. This is killer modern psychedelic rock. Gonna look for this on vinyl.
  20. Mine sounds like this, strings on for about 10 weeks.. https://dylanpatrik.bandcamp.com/track/can-you-feel-it I think I can hold out a couple.few more weeks before i re-string... but it sounds less like a sitar when the strings are fresh.
