  1. I've got all the 77 Forum dates but I don't have the 26th and have never seen it available for download. I always assumed they had the night off. Thanks for the heads up.
  2. My understanding was that Terry had just signed a contract with Mickie Most that he couldn't get out of which is why he recommended Percy. Personally I think he might have been strongly tempted if he was free - being in a band with Jimmy page would have been hard to turn down. Love Percy and all that he's given us, I'm just suggesting that it would kind of close the circle if Terry were to become the front man at last. I can dream. 🤘
  3. Never. I don't have any of Zeppelins 'best of' albums. The albums as they were released are the only way to listen to non-boot Zeppelin. Someone mentioned It's the same with Beatles albums. True but they had a lot of songs that weren't on their albums so I do have a playlist for their non-album tracks. Having said all that it occurs to me that I could do an outtakes playlist from the reissued Zeppelin albums; create a Zeppelin album that way.
  4. All the talk about the 20 date tour after 2007 that never was due to a certain member nixing it. I know that Jimmy and JPJ had been auditioning vocalists but never really found the right person. Would be ironic if Terry Reid had a chance. Except for Mickie Most, Terry would probably have been Zeppelin's front man. He's still going strong and if Jimmy and JPJ felt they still had some mileage in them then they could do worse than do something with Reid. Not as Zeppelin of course but would be great to hear new music from the chaps as well as maybe seeing them live. I think Jimmy wants to get out there but he needs close friends around him, he could do a lot worse than Jason, JPJ and Terry Reid. This may already be discussed to death so sue me. 😁
  5. And it wasn't on ITTOD. 🤔
  6. Personally I'm not as desperate for soundboards as I was. With Steve's Stereo Project releases and Graf Zeppelins and Nite Owl releases, they do a fine damn job of making audience recording remixes sound as good as soundboards with some of their releases.
  7. No problem Steve. Happy to help even if it's only a little.
  8. I saw that there's no info file or tray cover with this release so there's no easy way to apply track name metadata to the tracks. I found the setlist in setlist.fm and was able to paste it into a text file. I normally do this by editing the info file and saving the edited file to songs.txt. MP3Tag has a really nice option where you can choose txt - tag. It uses the songs.txt file as input to the tags and works sweet as a nut - to think I used to edit every track by hand to get a proper song title displayed. Anyhow, here is the songs.txt file I made for Steve's 05/21 set so I hope it proves use for some of you. Just to add, Mp3Tag is absolutely the best tag editor I've ever used. OK, it won't let me to attach a text file so here's the contents that can easily be copied into a txt file of yours: The Song Remains the Same Sick Again (The Rover intro) Nobody's Fault but Mine In My Time of Dying Since I've Been Loving You No Quarter Ten Years Gone The Battle of Evermore Going to California Black Country Woman Bron-Y-Aur Stomp White Summer/Black Mountain Side Kashmir Moby Dick Guitar Solo Achilles Last Stand Stairway to Heaven Rock and Roll Trampled Under Foot
  9. There's been no new issue since #44. I emailed Dave but got no reply and can't find any state of play info on Dave's site Anyone know if the TBL magazine is done? Would be a great shame if it is as it simply an indispensable source of Zeppelin news and excellent articles.
  10. Hey Steve, this dumb SOB read 'June' when I should have been reading 'May'. What can I say. Sorry for being a PITA and thanks again for the links.
  11. Thanks Steve, very much appreciated.
  12. Would appreciate a link very much Steve. Many thanks.
  13. Steve, forgive me for asking, but is this really May 21st? It seems to be missing Over The Hills And Far Away, Heartbreaker and Rock 'n' Roll. It has In My Time of Dying, and Trampled Underfoot as the last track. The track lists of all my other copies of May 21st do have the missing tracks and do not have IMTOD or TUF. The problem is that there's no info.txt file Steve so I can see what date this particular tracklist is from. Can you clarify please? Thanks.
  14. Wow, that was quick Steve!! Many thanks for the link.
  15. I grab everything you release Steve. Would love a link. Many thanks.
  16. Hi Steve, can I get a link please? Many thanks.

    uuweb?

For the life of my I can't find a search option on here. Anyway, I used to access uuweb nearly every day. A couple of years ago I noticed it was down. It's never come back of course. I Google searched on it but get nothing back. Can someone tell me what happened to it? It was a great resource and it's a shame it's no longer up and running.. Thanks.
  19. Wonderful stuff - are you still creating them? Would love to see more and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
  20. Pretty good release for 09-23-71, 3-3-75. The Budokan, Tokyo. Play this version a lot - just hits the spot.
  21. I've been reading through this whole thread to see if it finally led anywhere, it didn't. As most have said the 50th anniversary celebration was pitiful and Jimmy just keeps on being Jimmy - manjana, manjana! Some people made reference to 50th anniversary celebrations of other bands and of how much more impressive they were. Well to be fair The Beatles 50th anniversary celebration was even less impressive than Zeppelin's - nada. I mark the Beatles beginning as the day they went into the recording studio with George Martin, June 6th 1962. Their first album, Please, Please Me (UK of course), was released on March 22nd 1963. Celebrations? Zip. They have released Sgt Pepper, The White Album and Abbey Road as 50th Anniversary releases which is great but I don't get that ignoring their 50th anniversary (i.e. 62 or 63) was nothing but a real letdown to their fans - we didn't even get a fecking book! Perhaps it was thought that the massive disparity between early UK and USA releases made things too complicated. I understand that, especially if they had at least given people a heads-up so that we wouldn't expect to have the Beatles, as a band, get a 50th anniversary celebration. Like I say, Zeppelin's 50th sucked but the Beatles didn't even have a 50th!!
  22. Listening to this again. What a fantastic version. My goto version now. Thanks for all your skill and hard work!!!
  23. Maybe Jimmy's got more goodies stuffed behind the sofa than we thought........
