  1. "issues..." Aw jeez...I was so NOT looking forward to that! I do acknowledge Eddie is a fantastic guitarist though.
  2. Now I heard that JCP has a lousy record when dealing with sweatshops. Iraq and Jordan are two of the countries where they have factories that are no good. * I'll post the link when I find it again.*
  3. Country Joe and The Fish protest songs. Remember Superbird?
  4. Danke, Tink !! He's a babe, for sure.
  5. Well, here I am all broken hearted.... Nah, just WIDE awake again. It's only 11:00ish but I can feel a night of tossing and turning. So.. I suppose I'll go try some chamomile, grab a boring book at give it my best shot. :'( See ya...
  6. Yoo-hoo Vince ist gut!!!! Nice bikes. Big Blues would like this thread, I'll have to email him and have him have a looksee! He's a part-time biker.
  7. Well..my lil research brain went to the JCP website and read there policies on where they purchse their goods and the factories. It says they do not work with any company that has child labor and so on. Do I believe it? In America.....not to sure. They had the Raising Sand CD on the website. I dunno......it's got a bad tatse in my mind.
  8. Where's 59 when we need him! I still love Keef, and The Stones. Nothing anyone says will change that, or my love for Zep. So there!
  9. Miss you 59!

Seems like a mass banning has become the norm. NOT cool.

Looks like you may just be...."grounded."

LOL, your profile does not say banned, so here's to hoping the banned can return!!!

    Get back soon!

  10. Joel,

You did nothing on this board to be banned. Others have been allowed to stay even with their crapstirin.'

    Don't get mad, get even.

    and get back!

You are one of the very FEW who have such an immense knowledge of music. I have always enjoyed that!

Soon, everyone will be banned. LOL.

    Get Back!

  11. Thanks Leddy and Virginia, it is a huge relief.
  12. That's really sweet, I'm sure he will enjoy it.
  13. Jonsey looks like he's shrinking. And he has heels on...
  14. Finding out my Grandaughter is fine with NO injuries after she was in an accident. She was a passenger in a car of my Daughters gf's. I was frantic, just getting a text saying " Mom, _ _ _ was in a crash." Then panicked calls back and forth tied up phone lines while she was rushed via ambulance to a hospital I had no idea where. Daughter called back after what seemed like eternity saying "She's fine Mom, the doc had her jump on one foot and she was happily jumping all over." Big big Whewwww. Never ends.
  15. ^ You poor dear!! Sucks huh? I finally slept last night and even dreamed. whewwww!
  16. Wow, that must have been scary as hell, on the bridge. And falling glass on you, no wonder you remembered it!
  17. Crazy!! There have been quite a few quakes of late. I've lived through many. Here in SLC and out in Cali. There it was so common, you barely bothered to even get out of bed while it simmered down. We do live on a HUGE fault line, so some day.....some day.
  18. Best wishes to you and yours. My exhubby developed Hodgkin's shortly after I became pregnant with my first child. It was a long and grueling plight. The treatments "cured" him, but it came back two years later and they treated it more aggressively. He was in remission again. The treatments however, wound up showing horrid side effects years later. The combination of that and a stroke eventually took his life. And a word about those who live through it with the victim: Remember yourself. It can be one of the most stressfull times for the spouse. You are scared shitless, but put up a strong face for their sake. People sometimes forget you may be suffering too. Deeply. The Cancer Society can help in good ways, I recommend them for support. And my Mother, Father, Grandma, Uncle ALL died of the evil C. I can truly empathize.
  19. Me too ! Mandy: That was a really funny story!! I can just picture you innocently show and tell... My Mom was cool, God bless her. After she realized she could do nothing to stop us ( and she worked at the Police department ) she caved. She could always tell when I was trippin' on acid or whatever though. She didn't like that one bit. Herb, was fine though, and beer.
  20. Yeah, my Mom actually bought it for us as kids, then kept in in the hall closet, I chucked it. I'd say the I-Ching is a better "way."
  21. Yep, let her keep up her belly-aching. She's a goner. * I had to spell check goner, it looked weird. * Edited to add: I Miss Hermit!!!!!!!!!!
