LOL. - think of it this way, a perfect excuse not to play. This project come up and I had to focus all my time on it.

I do still think he'll play something somewhere with someone. And I hope it includes JPJ.

He's keen on being seen.  That's why he's spending so much time preparing for this MASSIVE WORLD TOUR.  Additionally, he'll be traveling in a Graf Zeppelin.  So exciting.  :hurrah:

For what it's worth...the following was on the Led Zeppelin Newsfeed and Ramble On Radio podcast:

    http://ledzepnews.com/2017/03/18/jimmy-pages-active-discussions-may-led-zeppelins-50th-anniversary/

Jimmy Page’s ‘active discussions’ may be about Led Zeppelin's 50th anniversary

The “active discussions” that Jimmy Page is currently involved in may be about activity surrounding Led Zeppelin’s fiftieth anniversary, Led Zeppelin podcast Ramble On Radio said in its latest episode.

Last week we reported that Page has been in “active discussions” to perform as part of the Desert Trip festival in 2018. However, Ramble On Radio host Brian Gardiner said in his podcast that the “Oldchella” rumour is a euphemism, and instead the rumour is about possible future Led Zeppelin activity planned for 2018.

The original rumour from last week came from a respected Led Zeppelin fan who does seem to have inside knowledge of the band’s activity.

What’s not clear right now is what the rumoured discussions are about. They could be about a one-off show, a series of shows, or even the release of new material. The only thing we know for sure is that it’s still early days.

Yeah, a insider to a band that doesn't exist.  Thats funny!

The Wembley Stadium jam was June 7, 2008. In Nov/Dec 2008, JPJ was in the states playing various gigs, after which he attended Grohl's 40th birthday party at Medieval Times in Los Angeles in January 2009. Dave purposefully sat JPJ beside Josh Homme. JPJ, Grohl and Homme got together a couple days after the birthday party at Homme's home studio, Baby Duck Studios. Their first jam lasted about thirty minutes. They jammed a second time the following day, and agreed they should form a band. JPJ then returned to England. JPJ returned to Baby Duck Studios in February 2009, and the three began working two weeks on and two weeks off for about eight weeks from noon to 3 am. The rest is history.

To make the most overrated collection of songs ever.  Awful LP.

  4. Very very sad Jason spending years doing this show. Must be getting paid well cause is smell of being a sell out at this point.  The points been made, you love your father and we do as well, but stop living in the past and do something new.  This is not "a led zeppelin experience" by any means, by the way, but rather just another tribute band really.  At least their not pretending to be Led Zeppelin with the silly 70's outfits.  But overall, its a dead show with not zip to it, no excitment; Just jason getting fat and lazy living behind dad.
