  1. Oh, and if you find it in your heart to somehow let me see that video footage I'd be forever grateful
  2. I think I was higher up in the audience than you were, towards the top. But on the same side. Hard to believe that it was nearly 20 years ago. I was a 24 year old kid for gods sake. Seems like only yesterday
  3. This is great. Thanks for sharing. If you ever get round to doing one for TYG from that show, I'd sure be pleased to hear it!
  4. What were your thoughts on the gig Steve? And are you winding me up about videoing it, or even attending?
  5. Hi all. I attended this gig and left very disappointed because of the acoustics at the venue. Totally ruined it. There's a bootleg around, an audience recording. The sound quality aint that good, particularly in comparison to the sound of the awesome Paris and New Orleans gigs. My question is; does anybody know if there has been a soundboard release for the Manchester show? And while we're at it, is there a Pre FM mix of the New Orleans show that doesn't have that nobhead DJ talking over the music? When I listen to it I feel like strangling the bastard. Cheers in advance for your help.
  6. Have to say, for me it is 1971. The Japan tour is incredible, in conjunction with the preceding North American tour. The Florida gig in particular is absolutely blistering
  7. Thanks steve. How about a link to an actual boot? Anyone? I listened to the Paris La Cigalle gig the other day. Jimmys playing blew me away. NQ in particular is phenomenal. And the WIC material is really brought to life
  8. Anyone know where I could get the '98 ULU London show?
  9. I'd have to say ten years gone. Closely followed by trampled underfoot
  10. My favourite Zep tune. Still blows me away when I hear it. I picked up my dad's LZII when I was 14. I was hooked after the opening riff
  11. I loved 'Manic Nirvana' when it came out, but I don't think that's aged well at all. Sounds like a bloody pop album too to my ears now.
  12. Completely agree. I can't really get excited by anything RP has done.
  13. 1975.03.05 is pretty good and hasn't been mentioned yet
  14. Awesome indeed. I was born in '74. My Dad, whose vinyl collection I turned to when I was 13 (Led Zep 1 in particular completely blowing me the fuck away) had the chance to go see them in Liverpool in '73 (my hometown) and never went. Something to do with being a newlywed, having a mortgage, wanting to start a family, saving up etc. I wonder how much the tickets were....10 pence? Who knows! He regrets it. Even if you inflated it, probably still nowhere near the price you have to pay now to see complete shite ( e.g pop bands like kings of Leon/black keys). Weird I could have had a role in my dad not seeing Zep. Still, he saw Hendrix 3 times. And if my Ma wants to piss me off she reminds me that she saw him 3 times too....but only cos he was on the same bill as cliff Richard. apologies all for my massive digression. But the kids are in bed, it's a Thursday and there's red wine
  15. Hey buddy....and fellow Perth-ite??? Dutch???? You mean Danish???? I'm sure you were waiting for one of us to point out your deliberate mistake??? Haha Have a good day mate
