Johnny Winter is definitely my favourite guitar player besides Page. The energy, speed, and originality of his guitar playing just don't compare to anyone else.

Thanks! Saw Robert Plant a couple years ago and it definitely solidified that fact. It was the most entrancing, beautiful thing I'd ever seen in my life! It kills me to imagine what it would have been like to have seen Led Zeppelin live.

I haven't watched enough bootleg recordings to contribute adequately but I must say this thread is amazing! I found Bonzo_fan's quote particularly hysterical: introducing bonzo as "...the most gentle man in rock music today" is my favourite part.

Yes that's what I've gathered unfortunately from this forum Hadn't realized he'd been promising this for so long! Also I thought perhaps there was a better chance since he's done rereleasing materials.

I am a 20-year old fan obsessed with the 60s and 70s and of course Led Zep! So glad I found this forum - so many detailed and interesting discussions on just about every topic!

So happy I found this forum! My favourite is his look in 1969. I especially love watching their concert videos from that year.

I really hope Jimmy finally releases some new material! I really hope he starts touring eventually.
