I know that some Stones fans don't like Ron Woods playing, on many live songs I don't like his playing either, he can be quite erratic but he is still a brilliant slide guitarist. Maybe you can play better than Wood but you're not the one in the Stones worth 70mil are ya?
Think I agree with Nutrocker, you have nothing but negative things to say in this thread, why bother posting? Have you even listened to Ron's playing with the Faces? Listen to the slide on this:
As nice as it sounds for Chuck to guest, the man can't play at all anymore. As much as I don't really like Mayer him and Gary Clark Jr. cooked on this version of Going Down, Ronnie also plays a very nice solo:
Yeah Bitch is great, too bad Keith can't play the leads nearly as well anymore, he's all over the place. Was cool to see that Mick Taylor played Satisfaction, three guitars make it pretty awesome.
It really is a shame that it seems Mick Taylor is only playing the one song, and the same song at that. Guess they don't want him to upstage Keith and Ronnie...
He was the doctor the band had on board for the 1977 tour, most likely to keep an eye on Jimmy who was getting wafer thin and addicted to smack. One can't help but think that he was also there to provide prescription drugs as well.
I really don't see why the band didn't use the in house closed circuit videos at most venues in 1977, we would have a plethora of pro shot videos if they had done imo.
You're either trolling or just not very intelligent. Pablo Honey is pretty much Brit pop, OK Computer I guess you could consider Alternative. Then you have albums like Kid A and Amnesiac which are electronica. Radiohead may be many things but repetitious is not one of them.
