  1. I like many of the January gigs, especially Chicago. Jimmy played very well, some shows Robert was decent, and the early setlist I much preferred. If they would have stuck with WS & Levee, and alternate HMMT with D&C that would have been quite lovely. Maybe even toss in the occasional Custard Pie...drop down baby 😉
  2. RIP John Lewis, one of the greatest civil rights leaders and congressmen in American history. You Sir were a titan.
  3. That's because Indians live in India and not in North America. Jokes aside, right now the Skins have much bigger fish to fry with their latest scandal. Several people out, forced to retire and the league may force Snyder to sell the team. How the hell this kind of garbage can be going on in 2020, after Weinstein, Ailes, O'Reilly, Rose, etc. is just beyond me. The arrogance of these jackasses is obviously beyond measure.
  4. Ok, here it is, the perfect cup of tea: 1/4 Earl Grey + 3/4 Bourbon = Teatime 🙂
  5. Man I hear ya, the US is such a mess right now that anyone NOT high on something must be nuts, its bloody insane.
  6. If your state allows medical or recreational weed your employer can't do shit, if they do you can sue them. The exception is jobs that require the operation of heavy or dangerous equip. but I believe you can get an exception but have to follow very strict criteria.
  7. You forgot the Flanger for the Live Aid gig in 85' That was a bit of a Spinal Tap moment
  8. Best Earl Grey I have tasted is loose leaf from Teavana, just fabulous. Unfortunately, Teavana no longer offers loose leaf and only the satchels are offered. Still a damn fine cup of tea and you can order on-line.
  9. As a proper Englishman there are only two choices: English Breakfast Tea with cream for mornings and Earl Grey with honey & lemon for afternoon tea-time 😉 Ps. Never put cream or milk in Earl Grey as in England I believe that is an offense worthy of a stay in the Tower. However it does get a bit confusing as a London Fog (Earl Grey Latte) is quite popular in the UK.
  10. Hanks is the contemporary Jimmy Stewart, even Old Scratch loves Hanks.
  11. Yeah, Plant's blouses change by the minute, makes Jonesy's TSRTS wardrobe differences look normal. But still amazing. I never knew there was so much video out there. My main thing is the music anyway, that is what's most important to me and this is fantastic. Love it all 🙂
  12. When I saw The Firm in Phoenix in 85' he used the LP on Radioactive as well. The show was stopped before Radioactive for about three minutes as there was a problem with the double neck (guitar he typically used on Radioactive). Jimmy was in the wings talking to the tech and then we saw him take the LP. Man the place went bananas as this was the first tune he pulled out the LP for. IMO the LP did a fine job on Radioactive, no complaints at all. BTW this was a fantastic show, Page played very, very well, no slop at all. At this show at least Jimmy did in fact eat his Weaties
  13. I may be in the minority but I really like GHS. Dancing with Mr. D is a gem, Angie, and Doo Doo Doo Do are classics. Maybe the album is not quite up to Exile, Sticky, etc. but it holds something special for me.
  14. Well goddamnit, if Jimmy won't put out material, the Stones will do it for him
  15. Exact-o-mundo! Just make it all inclusive and perfection. Sometimes I think every time we try and fix a problem, three more pop up in it's place while not really fixing the original problem. My biggest issues are loss of community, loss of the familial bond, and the transient nature of American society in general. If we don't have these, fixing the rest is near impossible.
  16. This alone would be worth it: Guitar World: So Jimmy, your pick of front man is rather...unusual. Can I ask why this particular choice? JP: Well Brad, Robert was not available so the obvious choice was Puddles. We really need a clown to fill Robert's enormous shoes. Cue clown horn and whoopee cushion sound.
  17. I love this clown, great voice, interesting presence, and he sips a spot o' tea before getting into it. Plus his facial expressions, or lack thereof are hilarious. I think we have found the new singer for Jimmy Page's new music! Now I know most are skeptical that Jimmy has even written new music but I tell you, I think he has but just cannot find the perfect singer. Well, here he is. Jimmy, give this guy a call, this clown is the real deal. However I would ask him his opinion on John Wayne Gacy first. Better safe than sorry.
  18. Well, how about the North Koreans then 🙂
  19. We pretty much F'ed the Japanese psyche in toto by wars end and followed that up by what was considered by most Japanese to be a disgraceful occupation of their country. Now we (Americans) did nothing I am aware of which would be considered disgraceful, but to the Japanese all honor was lost and rightfully so. They embraced the whole empire building BS after they beat the shit out of the Russians in the 1905 war and it went right to their heads (BTW the Japanese started the war with a surprise attack on the Russian naval base at Port Arthur). The Japanese always considered themselves superior to everyone else so to them what they did was justifiable, no atrocities because the people they went after were not Japanese. This was 100% the fault of the Japanese military as by the 1920's they had completely bastardized the code of Bushido to suit their own needs and consistently went against the Emperor himself to the point they were contemplating overthrowing the Emperor and installing a military dictatorship with the Emperor as a captive figurehead. So as far as I am concerned the Japanese got what they deserved and we should have given Iwo Jima to the Koreans for compensation for centuries of oppression which continues to this day for Koreans born and raised in Japan.
