The extended solo in Dazed and Confused with laser show and bow, the extended solo in Whole Lotta Love with theremin and percussions, in 2007, the huge psychedelic backdrop animation during Kashmir...
They were not a strict psychedelic band but they used psychedelic elements from the very start up to the very end...

Definitely.

Hi hecube, found this one :-)
The studio version really kicks a$$. Give it a listen if you can.

"Shaman" from The Fixx's "Beautiful friction" (sorry it's not on Youtube).
-
Thunderhead Spitfire and the Black Bombers would have been a killer band name.
-
"Fortune hunter" is a favorite of mine.
Me too.
Not just in the context of the Firm but overall from Jimmy's career.
I particularly like the smooth break...

To me, the real gem on Outrider is "Blues anthem".

He really looks devilish in that one...

It is from ARMS

Don't mind if I do Hecube... and she is Sofia Coppola.
Ah yes, I recognize the charming sneer now...

Do you think Jimmy still has that big ole synth?

All good here

Steve, with all this minutiae at your disposal, do you ever plan to publish a book? (Sorry if this question has been asked before)

Hi Joey-
I can solve this Led Zep "photo mystery"..... I would be the photographer of record for this particular shot.
This is a photo that I took of Jimmy Page in March 1985 in Ronnie Lane's room at a party after the Firm's show in Austin, Texas that night.... Where did you find it?

What book is Page holding?

Oh you'll have to do better than that...

Here's a mystery I'd like to be solved.
This guitar... various sources indicate it's a KET custom. What else is known about it?
-
LOL!!! We would all make great detectives. It always amazes me at that contributions from so many because of our love of this band and the music
Edit to add : I have a friend who was at that concert. I'll try to reach out to her and see if she has any photos:-)
Any luck?

I remember a short article either in Guitar World or Guitar Player about Jimmy playing a single night only with Harry Connick and his orchestra. Any pictures of that evening or recordings?

I need to keep an eye on this thread...

The more time passes, the more I love that album.
