Two of my all-time favorites for sure. One thing about the WHO that I think sets them apart is the full-on, all-out war they wage on the music. For example, Live at Leeds track #1 Heaven and Hell. It's a full frontal assault, a flurry of exploding bombs and machine gun fire, to use a military analogy. The energy is so palpable it brings out raw emotion in me. I'm not a musician even by the most meager of terms but I feel this music and I'm amazed how Moon and company fit so much into tight spaces, like a tightly wound spring going off. Young Man Blues is another great example of their power. Of course there's many other examples but these two came to mind first because I listened to Leeds recently.
