  1. Just a thought, a deep thought? Hmmm, maybe? Has anyone seen the Vice special The Devil You Know about Sherry Shriner? After watching this it got me to wonder, was Sherry Shriner Q? Many of their (QAnon) theories and ideas mirror those of Shriner except Shriner was making these same insane claims as far back as 2000'. Just a consideration due to the similarity in beliefs and that Shriner has had an on-line presence since the late 90's. Oh, and she is dead now so, there is that. She died shortly after the Jan 6 insurrection and the last Q drop was on December 8th 2020. Strange?
  2. Also, IMO there is a very distinct difference between LP#1 & LP#2 in the "flame" of the wood. #1 is more a traditional sunburst color whereas #2 looks like a light tobacco-burst as the coloring is deeper and darker than the #1. I believe the most modified of his actual gigging guitars is his #3 Norlan LP. That baby has all sorts of mods including the b-bender installed. It has also been re-painted at least twice since Zep ended. From 73' to 80' it was that funky purple color (originally the #3 was a gold top painted purple however the original gold bled through which created this very unique color) which I really liked. Next time the #3 is seen (I think) was during the 88' solo tour and by the 94' Coverdale / Page tour the #3 was a red-maroon color and had the b-bender. FWIW his #3 LP is my favorite of his three LP's. Has the best tone IMO.
  3. I just assumed to give a response on par intellectually with your post 🙂 I did not wish my words to go over your head
  4. Why thank U, I am simply overjoyed my laughing emoji's make you happy 🙂
  5. It does matter to me Steve because of something called empathy. Regarding the origin of COVID, that is a theory you have, it is not fact which is why there needs to be an investigation. What we need to do is stop acting like children claiming to know "the truth" when it is all just opinionated flatulence and nothing more.
  6. Ok, who let Sherry Shriver in the forum????
  7. What's funny is how cliquish we all were back in HS regarding our bands. The chess club, science club type were into prog rock, King Crimson, Yes, ELP, Genesis, Rush etc. The shop kids were jamming the Stones, Zeppelin, Queen, etc. And of course the drama club folk were jamming their Elton John and assorted show tunes. I think everyone loved The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Well, except for the Young Republicans group 🙂
  8. Just curious, once the COVID vaccine is fully approved, how is it any different that other vaccines? Kids are required to have vaccinations before admittance to school. When travelling to certain countries certain vaccines are mandated. Don't even get me started on the military, I was jabbed so many times I am surprised a parasitic twin named Quaato did not grow out of my ass. A persons individual freedom does not include the freedom to give me an infectious disease when such a disease can be easily prevented or its affects reduced. I have several friends and family in health care (including my wife) and something which I am surprised that is very under-reported are the long-term affects of COVID in about 30% of those that recover. My mother-in-law is now bald as a coot yet she had a head of hair at 86 that would make Robert Plant jealous. My mom also lost about 50% of her hair and her skin is dry as a bone. They are lucky. I have friends who are suffering severe neuropathy, migraines, digestive issues, heart issues, and of course breathing issues months after recovering. I have no idea if COVID was man made in a lab or the product of some whacko rogering a bat, either way its here and we need to deal with it the best we can. Once we get this under control then we can find out exactly how this originated and take the proper precautions moving forward.
  9. So much for deep thinking, or any semblance of thought for that matter.
  10. Meh, I'm in it for the Connie and the Frop, attempting Slack at a whole new level. Possibly seriously inter-dimensional Slack, I don't know because I am just too damn lazy to follow up. Shred with pipe, well sir, I believe Mr. Joe Pass would fit that bill. Check out some of his albums, they are jazz but holy hell, the man could make Neal Schoen weep.
  11. So what will be your excuse when the vaccines are approved in about a month?
  12. I believe the only "tards" are people who don't get the vaccine, claim the vaccine is dangerous, tell others not to get the vaccine, and then contract COVID and die from it. Honestly, how much more proof do you need? Did you get your kids vaccinated before you put them into school? Did you think it is personal choice for parents not to vaccinate their children and allow them to mingle with other kids? BTW I am talking about the usual childhood vaccinations, not the COVID vaccination. Honestly, just curious.
  13. Sorry if I am insensitive but this guy just won the Darwin Award in a big way.
  14. NY Post? Might as well share a link from The Onion or 8Chan.
  15. Don't bother with him Plant77, he lives in Loonie-Land. Trying to engage in normal, meaningful debate with him is akin to talking to a crack-ho shouting word salad gibberish at peak volume.
  16. I remember this one time I was at a gig and played just as good, better actually. I was a combination of Page, Hendrix, Campbell, Joe Pass, and Larry Carlton all rolled into one. Man I was on fire! Then I woke up 😞
  17. ITTOD is, believe it or not, one of my favorite Zep albums and I was very pleasantly surprised when it was released in 79'. Several other rock bands had gone disco, such as KISS but Zeppelin went more the Roxy Music, New Wave direction instead which was great as I loved the early New Wave from 78'-82'. IMO those were some golden years for music with Thomas Dolby, Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, Modern English, Joe Jackson, Nick Gelder, and the criminally underrated Rick Springfield to name just a few. My main issue with ITTOD is they kept some amazing tracks off that album (Wearing & Tearing is one example), and did not develop a couple of seriously awesome jams Jimmy brought to the sessions (Fire & Shake My Tree). The album would have had much greater balance with W&T and SMT or Fire included. If you are not a fan of ITTOD (justifiable as it was quite the departure for LZ), just imagine how much you would have loved In the Evening or Fool in the Rain with a sweet disco beat and mellowed out harmonies. Oooofff!
  18. Well, to be fair it is kind of a Plant solo song with the other three involved as any and all such songs within a bands (any bands) catalogue typically are. This was a song Plant wrote about the passing of his son and he and Jones (mostly Jones) wrote the music. So though it is a Zep song and part of the Zep catalogue I personally consider it more of a Plant project. I really like the song, always have but I feel the song "I Believe" off of Fate of Nations is a superior song in general.
  19. Awwww, Jesus loves you too snookums 🙂 Kisses
  20. SWEET! Maybe we can see some Gene Kelly high-stepping to Immigrant Song while faceless Vikings are savagely slaughtering English peasants in the background
