I love SF, dirty and shitty it may be, and I do wish it was better. However, it was pretty dumb to re-build a major city which was destroyed by an earthquake due to its proximity to a major fault line. Kinda like the nuclear disaster at Fukushima. That was due to both an earthquake and a tsunami but yet, nuclear bad??? There was nothing wrong with the nuke plant, the problem was building one next to a fault line on the coast. Gee, what could possibly go wrong????

It appears most if not all of these former groupies are the same, cannot get past their "glory days" and make up all sorts of stories. One after another these groupies stories are turning out to be lies and nonsense. Lori Maddox timeline of events and interactions not just with Page but also with Bowie & Jagger simply do not line up, it's likely all or at least 90% BS. These old hens are the worse as they have never grown up. Just looking at Pamela Des Barres is enough to illicit a gag reflex from me. All the lies that woman has told. At this point who knows what really happened and, 54-42 years after the fact, who really cares? -

However I do find it interesting you are advocating for the execution of several past and present heads of state. As everyone with a brain knows, drug trafficking cannot happen without the governments looking the other way and getting their cut. Space is nothing like what the movies represent in regard to actual stuff in it. Case in point: You see these asteroid fields densely packed in movies all the time but, that is impossible. The distance between other asteroids in an asteroid field is usually several hundred miles between asteroids. Even the supposedly densely packed rings of Saturn, made up of rock & ice blocks, was easily penetrated several times by probes with no problem. However, a warp drive works by moving space around the craft, the craft actually never moves, space is moving which is why light speed is no longer a factor as the craft is not moving. Honestly though, I believe folding space or artificial wormholes are the best bet for interstellar travel.

Layne is my favorite of the grunge vocalist and one of my top 5 vocalist. The guy was not simply an extremely gifted singer, his tone and pitch were absolutely perfect, but his phrasing and the texture of his voice were so damn unusual and haunting. Check out Layne's isolated vocals from various tunes to see how truly gifted a singer he was.

Problem Steve is it's not black and white. The people who gravitate toward such things do so not because, "Wheeeee, getting high is soooo funnn!!!" They do it because they re damaged & broken, some physiologically as well as psychologically. These are not stupid, selfish drug addicts who simply pushed their luck, these are broken and F-ed up people who for whatever reason never got the help they needed. I used to feel the same way as you Steve but, like Plant77 I too lost my older brother through "bad lifestyle choices when he was just shy of 32 and I was just shy of 27. It was so easy, so simple to categorize and judge before my brother died then, not so much. The older I get the more I give people slack because I understand the complexities of life, that one persons challenge may be another persons breaking point. Sometimes shit just becomes too much for some people. I hope you never have to learn that lesson.

Please, enough of this. It could not be more black and white. Ukraine did nothing against Russia. Russia invaded a sovereign nation with zero provocation, and did it AFTER Zalinskyy stated Ukraine would not seek admittance into NATO which was "supposedly" Putin's reason for aggression. I believe the US wars in Vietnam, Iraq, & Afghanistan were just as illegal and just as unjustified as Putin's invasion of the Ukraine. This nonsense has got to stop.

It is a good trait to be nice, kind, and optimistic. However, also be wary as many people have an agenda. Some people are simply miserable pricks who gain pleasure out of making others lives miserable because they are miserable. Just ignore them. Give with an open heart with no expectation of return, that way if they shit on you it's expected and shrugged off, if they return the kindness its like finding Wonka's Golden Ticket.

It's a great show, one of my favorites. Sometimes they get a bit in the weeds with the plot but I give them latitude simply because the acting is so goddamned good. Not a crappy character in the lot. Two of my favorite side characters are the Indian trader & Ben Kim (they are usually on screen together). These are two super nice guys who would toss their mothers into a meat grinder if it would benefit them. Two complete sociopaths in regard to their corporate dealings but on the surface, two harmless, amiable chappies.

C'mon Steve, you know that's nonsense. If you ever want to get at the heart of the matter just follow the money, its generally all about the money. The Great Reset, there simply is no money in it. Look at the state of things, the corporations are milking us dry, squeezing until thee is nothing left. People buying 60k vehicles and 800k houses on credit, thinking they have the world on a string and not understanding they are little more than wage slaves. That is how the powers that be like it. We have built our own cages and fashioned our own golden chains and people actually think they are free. Just because the cage & chains are gold does not make them any less a prison. The corporations run things for the most part. On occasion you get a nutter like Putin who has amassed so much money that he only cares about his legacy, to be remembered as the second Ivan the Terrible. That is the one factor the corporate leaders never take into account. The leader of a nuclear state who decides to go rogue, off script.

and let us never forget, the Nazi's did NOT start WWII by themselves. It was BOTH the Soviet Union and Germany who started WWII by jointly invading Poland. As soon as we defeated Germany we should have invaded the Soviet Union, taken out Stalin and ALL the Bolsheviks who supported him, and installed a democratic republic govt. and then immediately held elections. The Soviets were just as bad as the Nazi's, no real difference whatsoever. Of course lets not forget Stalin's manufactured famine which killed between 3.5 - 5 million Ukrainians. Gee, I wonder why the Ukrainian's hate Russia. It is obvious Russia should have been treated the same as both Germany & Japan post-WWII but since they were not, this is what we get today.

NATO is anything but a paper tiger, the problem is, according to people who know Putin, is Putin has lost his mind. How exactly do you handle a nuclear power with a head of state openly threatening nuclear war? According to sources Putin is suffering from both cancer & Parkinsons and he gives zero shits. That's the problem. How do we do the right thing without potentially starting a nuclear war? What we have been doing is the smart but slow path. Putin is becoming more unhinged by the day and now he is arresting members of his own intelligence service...those are the people who actually keep him in power. If they lose confidence or fear Putin, Putin will be erased and replaced, plain and simple. NATO is playing the long game hoping Russia will get rid of Putin and then sue for peace.
