  1. That's because time is perceived as running slower when young. After you're done with that will you be on to Emergency! Loved that show as well.
  2. Works for me Woz, thanks for taking the time and your hard work nailing this down. Happy St. Patties 🙂
  3. What is with that look on her face? I see that all the time with models and it just looks silly IMO. It appears like a still from a porno with the other "player" airbrushed out.
  4. From Robert's interviews it seems to me to be a bit embarrassed by the whole Zep period. He goes on about how silly his histrionic singing was in the early days. Then he goes on about how ridiculous the lifestyle was. Blah, blah, blah...oh boo hoo Robert. So sorry you were forced to bed a few thousand groupies and make several tens of millions of dollars in the process. Robert needs to be the captain of the ship. Richard Cole said it best in the book by Mick Wall when he tells a tale of being pool-side in 69' and asking Plant to go get some sandwiches. Plant had a bloody fit! As much as I love the guy and respect him, he really can be more than a bit of a "Percy" from time to time. IMO Zep was Plant's stepping stone to his solo career as far as he is concerned at this point in time.
  5. Could be. If Robert is indeed holding up new official releases, Page could be thinking, "fine, I will get them in the bootleg market then" just to get it out.
  6. A. Bigfoot - Maybe but unlikely. Large species have been discovered as recently as within the past few years so it is possible. B. Ghosts - Depends on ones definition of a ghost. I believe there are forms of spiritual or energy forces, however I do not believe in the ghosts of former humans hanging about. I believe if there is something beyond this life, once we die we cross some dimension into another and cannot come back unless reincarnation is a thing. C. Sea Monsters - Sure, same possibility as above especially since only about 9% of the oceans have been researched. D. Aliens have been here or are here - Yes to both but I do not believe they really interact with us as we are just too primitive and aggressive at this point.
  7. As is Titan as well. Titan appears to be the focal point for future colonization.
  8. Oh stop Snookums, you know that's not how it went. You will always be my favorite bottom, giving it up sooooo smooth
  9. We really cannot compare audience / crowd sizes from most past events to current events. These days people go to concerts at the drop of a hat, it's no big deal. Back in the day going to a concert was an event for most, an event they had to save up for, plan, make arrangements etc. so those numbers will generally be lower compared to today. However some festivals I would exclude as even past number such as Woodstock, the free shows in Central Park, and that one ginormo festival concert in South America back in 1997 (Rod Stewart headlined) that had somewhere around3.5 million people. That was a free concert at the Copacabana Beach in Brazil. I would sure hate to have to use the loo at that show!!! And the ladies, OYE! I believe a diaper would have been required.
  10. Iapetus, 350 years later, remains our most misunderstood moon - Big Think SHOCK CLAIM: Saturn’s huge moon Iapetus is an ‘ALIEN DEATH STAR’ | Weird | News | Express.co.uk Ok, the second link is more for fun but it does have some interesting info buried within the nonsense.
  11. Yes, but that is not the strangest aspects. It has a perfect, uniform "mountain range" running the entire equator, 8 miles high, no deviation north or south. One side is black, the other extremely reflective (it is not locked, it rotates so no dark side as a result of not being in sun) and when they sent x-rays they bounced off. I believe all readings and measurements have been exclusively visual as every type of scanner just bounces off. Not saying this is some ancient, artificial satellite or generational ship from some long ago race billions of years in the past. Nope, not me. However, anything this weird which according to planetary physics & mechanics should not and cannot exist naturally needs a bit of consistent scientific inquiry. If such an anomaly is natural it would re-write the book on planetary physics which I think would be a pretty big deal.
  12. Saturn's moon Iapetus is the strangest moon in the entire solar system. What is even stranger is why NASA and pretty much every other space agency on the planet pretty much ignores such an odd and interesting moon. According to planetary & satellite mechanics, Iapetus should not exist yet it does but NASA only had the Voyager probe (a very quick flyby) and Cassini Probe do a quick flyby on it's way out of Saturn's system. I for one think a dedicated mission should have been sent years ago. Strange
  13. Well, she was / is not the only "artist" to do noise as music, but as she was married to JL the spotlight was on her. Believe me, there are plenty of shitty "artists" out there most of us have thankfully never heard. I think John indulged her because he was attracted to that aspect at that point in his life. He did have a history of what I considered really shitty noise compositions such as Revolution #9 so it really comes as no surprise to me. Per the recent re-issued doc and other sources, John did not choose her over the band. John Lennon was an asshole, plain and simple. John chose John, it was 100% his ego at work. Hard to see the obvious when your (John's) ego is taking up all the space and air in the room.
  14. I'm asking the same question Yoko. Why? Why indeed would anyone caterwaul along like that. Prop's to the poor bastard sitting next to her on her left, looks like he thinks the whole thing is hilarious.
  15. That's because you prefer the typical "out of the way" rest-stops along the motorway to have your "fun."
  16. This is one of the best shows of the 80' tour. The only mediocre parts are SIBLY (not a bad version, just somewhat off if that makes sense), and Plant's vocal delivery on what is otherwise a stellar version of STH. Stairway has a fantastic solo by Page and the whole song just has a good flow in general.
  17. HA! Talk about an appropriate name! That's what I love about the whole scene, they enjoy using a turn of phrase in a cheeky way, poking fun at themselves.
  18. Well, for one thing, they are funny as hell, most are quite talented, and the people who go to these shows are also happy and out for a good time. I have never had a bad time at one of these shows nor have I ever seen trouble at one of these shows, everyone is happy and accepting. You know, an almost complete 180 from "straight" clubs where by 1am you are almost guaranteed to see a fight among the poseurs. You know who absolutely LOVED drag shows, drag queens, and gay bars? Led Zeppelin & their entourage that's who, in fact they preferred the gay scene for the very reasons I stated above. But hey, to each their own right 🙂
  19. The older I get, the greater the appreciation I have for cooking shows, especially the "road" style shows like this. There are a few bar themed shows which follow the same premise...some dude visiting random famous bars etc. Funny thing is I have become a bit of the happy host as my cocktail mixing skills have gone next level via Anders Erikson's You Tube channel. Have the crew over for my drink de jour and if I step on me dick in the mixing, well, that's what Koenigsbier's for 🙂
  20. Absolute rubbish! In fact, I am on my way to a drag show this fine evening, and I do not mean cars babies! Chicks w/dicks singing Diana Ross, Bette Midler, Liza Minelli, and Madonna tunes while cracking wise all night long. You simply have not had real fun until you go to a drag show. If this keeps up, I just might become a fag-hag
  21. I'm sure some Swedish death metal band who has killed a few random people used Geiger artwork on their covers. Those are some crazy mofo's. Vikings + Death Metal, what could possibly go wrong???
