  1. The thing that struck me was the intense concentration on JPJ's face. Wow.
  2. I had to wait for a friend to arrive, bummer: no chance. Then walked to the line an hour before showtime, grabbed a few beers and thought: this is not bad at all, at least we'll be in front of the sound board. Then we were admitted: I couldn't believe it: just four people in front of us!
  3. Never much liked NQ somehow, how wrong I was. I'm now listening to the bootleg....AMAZING. What a fantastic show, I still can't believe I was there.
  4. Unforgettable. Still haven't come down to earth. I now really need to get some work done. In the meantime before we get the DVD and professional photos I hope you'll enjoy mine. Let me know what you think http://www.flickr.com/photos/21819537@N07/...157603446343458
  5. OMG, I'm afraid I have to agree. It was by far the best concert I've been to, and I've been to a few. But I was only about 7 meters from the stage and I also thought there was way too much sub bass. The bass is of course what drives the music, but at these levels everything starts to resonate and the notes start to blur. It became very distracting. But if I listen to the youtube videos from the stands it sounds much better, so I think it was simply being too close to the stage.
  6. They do in the UK: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/artist/958716
  7. What a show it was! Phenomenal. I must admit, I secretly hope this was it. But let's not be naive. A lot of the hype, the re-releases, the build-up is orchestrated. The whole notion of a one-off is part of the hype. Of course they will tour. A 2 hour tribute? Come on, this is all way too expensive to put on for just one show.
  8. We were very close to the stage and it was clear Jimmy was struggling on this one. He cut it off prematurely and Robert was surprised, he had to scramble to kick in again. Jimmy was drawing faces afterwards to his guitar tech
