Ok sorry.. I wasnt aware of that. I just knew him as that. I was a little girl and he was my mom's VERY good friend. Last I saw him was when I left home and moved out of NYC and that was many years ago. My mom recently passed away from the Virus. I recently found pic's of her and him and another address for him but he doesnt live there anymore. I've been looking for him to let him kno. Do you know where I can find him? I'm sure he'd be upset. He went by the name Palu. He was VERY good friends with my mom. Not sure if his real name was Jimmy but I knew him as Palu. I grew up right across the street from his building. My mom lived r 97 St. Marks Place till she passed away recently (in April) from the Virus. Palu was an awesome guy. Here is a picture of him and my mom talking in front of his building. I have more pictures of him.. in my mom's apt back in the day.. I haven't seen him in years. Wish I knew where he was and if he is still with us. And two of the 3 black men pictured with Led Zeppelin on the stoop was Jimmy and Dwight. Also knew them very well. Both guys also knew Madonna as she lived around the corner on 6th St between A n B. I worked at the funhouse where she started off her career and dated John Jellybean Benitz who back then was our DJ and a friend.
