i must add...bill maher is interviewing madeleine allbright, IMO a fantastic woman.....when I worked for the delano hotel in south beach, i worked with her "task forcce" so to speak to plan her stay at the hotel. she was secretary of state at the time. she loved the hotel and wrote a letter of appreciation. it was a great experience working with the secret service. actually, it was my second time....i had a previous experience when al gore stayed at a hotel a worked for in tampa, years ago. sorry...off topic

i read all four stefanie meyers' books, starting with twilight. i thought they were fantastic and i am in love with the character, Edward. i was hooked, and read one after the next in a period of a few weeks. i thought the movie, twilight, sucked...but robert pattinson is just beautiful. i just finished The Shack by Wm. Paul Young...awesome book, a must read. And now, i am reading The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. So far, amazing.

oddly enough, i bought the soundtrack from the film "The Painted Veil"....i love this movie. anyway, if you have seen it, you may remember that there is a song towards the end sung in French (I think), a duet between a woman and a child. I purchased the CD entirely for this one unique song, and of course, to my huge disappointment, the song is not on the CD. does anyone know what i am talking about? if yes, have you any idea where i could get a recording of that song?
