  1. I'm just listening to this for the first time (it came up on Deezer somehow). Great performance. For the life of me I can not find which Zeppelin song is inspired by/derived from this. It sounds so familiar. I guess it sounds like I can't quit you baby and some BIOH as well.
  2. Completely unknowledgeable listener here. I don't understand how Robert could sound so awful on the first scream(s) of Immigrant Song. I would think that he would warm up his voice before going on stage, yet most times I feel he just messes up badly on the first few verses of IS. It's usually corrected the second time around during the song. Did he just not warm up ? Were a few bad screams unavoidable ? Thanks gibsonfan159 for your reviews !
  3. Led Zeppelin - Live In Japan (A Prof. Stoned Comp) Who's singing along with Robert on Tangerine ?
  4. I was just listening to it. Before WLL Robert mentions going to the toilet and reading a man's name on the wall, Alan Whitehead. I googled the name and the MP for Southampton bears that name. What's more he is an alumni from Southampton University, and he seems to have gotten his PhD there in 1976. This would make him a prime candidate for this dedication of WLL. Alan Whitehead - Wikipedia
  5. I did listen to the Winston remaster version, yes. I just don't like the way the songs are played I guess, as you point out it's very different from 71 - I just listened to the Live in Japan from "Prof Stoned" and I loved it.
  6. I just listened to 6/21/77. Not a fan to say the least Too long, too booring. No quarter just keeps dragging on, that "guitar solo" after a bad Heartbreaker is plain bad, Achilles just sounds dull ... There use to be a time when only Moby Dick would bore the heck out of me, but I feel in this show 3 or 4 songs gave me the same impression.
