  1. smacks of Monty Pythons "Spot the Looney" referenced by Robert on I think "Bonzo's Birthday Party"?? -correction:Blueberry Hill-shame on me, I just listened to it not one week ago and "How to recognise different types of trees from quite a long way away" Sorry, couldn't resist
  2. yeah, i have new respect for him since he made a valid argument against touring just to tour, I especially liked how he referenced the Stone's tours of late to drive the point home.
  3. as much as i hate to admit it, he made good points about touring.
  4. LMAOROTF Thank you so much for that! What an awesome picture! Love me some Grace Bros.!
  5. never, ever too much thunderous bass. It is the backbone!
  6. I bow before your greatness, sir! Truly great stuff! Welcome!
  7. no problem...glad some of us on here have a sense of humor!
  8. I had read early on that the band was using a local guitar maker for their o2 show. In hindsight, Im glad they didnt. Jimmy without a Les Paul onstage seems like a sin!
  9. I managed to get my copy from a local indie record store here, Warners site didnt have any available almost immediately...and I paid ten bucks more than the website was selling it for. I was very happy with it, although I would agree, the marketing and distribution of it was lacking for such a huge company.
  10. Im pretty sure its just a funny shirt taking off on actual gardening..."in for a quick garden" would mean im here to do some quick gardening.
  11. its a tape echo of the next lyric he sings
  12. I read this a few weeks ago, and I thought you all might get a kick out of it. LONDON BM - The much anticipated reunion of superstar rock band Led Zeppelin was postponed recently due to an injury to Robert Plant's penis. Details of the prickly 59 year-old front man's injuries remain unclear, but rumours continue to abound of a malfunctioning electric penis pump and Black Magic. Plant refused comment on the cause of his injuries, but did reveal their extent, saying, "I count myself lucky it was just a sprain, and not a fracture, although there is considerable bruising." "Obviously we are disappointed, but Robert's health is first and foremost to us." commented guitarist and founding member Jimmy Page. "Percy is the cock-of-the-walk, and if he's not at 100%, it's sure to be a limp show. Anything other than a rock-solid performance would be a huge disappointment to ourselves and our fans." Organist and bass player John Paul Jones agreed, saying, "Led Zeppelin can not possibly perform without Robert's package clearly visible and holding forth through his tight hip-huggers, fronting the band." One Zeppelin fan seemed to sum up the public's sentiment. "I've waited me whole life for this," said shaft inspector John Thomas of Manchester. "I guess I'll just have to wait a bit longer, although I do hope the ticket holders don't get hung out to dry." The sold-out show, scheduled for mid-November in London, has officially been put on hold while Plant recovers in the South of France. "We will reschedule when we feel Robert is ready to pull it off, and not before." said a testy Peter Grant, deceased Zeppelin manager. "I assure you Robert Plant and his Led Zeppelin will rise again." The story above is a satire or parody.
  13. I couldn't get this to post last time, so I will link to it.... even though its a phony story, it really hits the mark on it's accuracy. ZEPPELIN FOREVER
  14. I really hope you can reach out to your old friend and relive your shared past...what a great thing to look forward to!
  15. i doubt very seriously its a perm, what kind of "product" was out there in 1968 for curly hair? And he doesnt have those huge, frizzed out mutton chops he had back then, either, making for a much smoother look too.
